Personally I would advocate wearing your own hat HonaB - you never know what you might pick up from the unwashed art students' greasy manes. However BBW, Bar Story is great and anything that increases general hat wearing can only be a good thing. I shan't be going tomorrow night as I have a prior engagement, but I might wear a hat anyway in celebration of the anniversary.

Nick, yay, this sounds brilliant. I for one am a fan of the jumpsuit (or rompersuit as some will have it) and usually find the clothes around ED are a little too White Stuff for my tastes. Melbourne Grove considerably closer than East London for the Vibe - a most welcome addition to the area.

I don't think you can base it on a rational decision to be honest, at least I can't. I've been involved in situations like that 3 times: twice I intervened and it was anger and reflex, I just couldn't stand what I was seeing. I didn't have the time to think it through. The other time, it still haunts me that I did nothing, even though I'm pretty sure I would have had the crap kicked out of me. Maybe I'm old fashioned, but I think we have a responsibility towards our fellow man.

I say yea, yea and thrice yea. My body, my life, they are mine to do with as I will. Should I ever reach such a point of physical incapacitation, I would be glad to know that, in that regard, my wishes could still be carried out, even were I not physically able to carry them out myself.

Yeah, absolutely shameless PR stunt. I'm a chap and I'm going on chap's radio, so I'm going to get down with the chaps and say something a little risque, "a bit of blue for the dads", if you will, as that terrifically funny northern chap said once. Are you sure Wimpole? Usually if I want food at that time, it might be because I've had a few ales. And if I have, then I'm more likely to want food badness than a superjuice. That said, try Hisar for some tasty looking falafel and salad late of an evening.
