  1. I hang my head in shame. Don't defenestrate me.
  2. I thought this was interesting, and it reflects my views on the subject. Worth a read: "Recreational" looting in perspective
  3. *revises opinion on removal of Frankito and adds maxxi to the bus*
  4. Yeah, wedges are shit. For shame Nette, get out!

  6. Walking back from Peckham yesterday, I saw some really sorry loot. Sad to say I didn't take a picture, but it was a tray of those little fridge pots of Ambrosia Rice Pudding and a bag of potatoes from Tesco East Dulwich Road. Of such things dreams are made.
  7. You're safe Frankie - I don't have that power. I only have the power of the crossbow. Oops sorry, meant to say, that of course you wouldn't be on the list anyway.
  8. Tweeted about by its poster in the most unwarranted explosion of self-congratulatory w@nk-effluent since Madonna's Sex book. It got one response you fucknuts, and you probably posted that yourself too.
  9. Yes.
  10. Well there's that. But I'm talking in the immediate. Those who are already on benefits, how do they eat until such time as they've improved themselves? And how do you factor in for unemployment levels? And as a matter of fact, what these kids (& adults) did, while awful, for the most part wasn't murder, rape, paedophilia. But we're ok with people convicted of those crimes getting benefits right? This petition is idiotic. It's knee-jerk, and I don't mind that so much, I think we're all pretty fucking angry right now, but that's why I'm glad I don't get to pass sentence, because if I did I'd have them all in leg irons breaking rocks.
  11. Jeremy, would you employ the little bastards? Chances of their getting a job are slim - whether by dint of their own fecklessness, criminal record, or unemployment. I'm not being bleeding heart about this, I'm being entirely pragmatic.
  12. Hmmm, "shot on sight" you say. Well there's an idea and no mistake... *loads crossbow*
  13. Brendan, you get a free pass on account of being a hottie. The others, not so much. *goes and gets crossbow*
  14. Well KK's having a sense of humour failure this morning. I'm shocked, shocked I tell you. *sighs* Senor and Twirly, just having my Falling Down moment.
  15. AAAAAAAGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH Just stop it now. Just fucking stop it. Too much piss wank dribbling all over the forum. Just fucking fuck right off. Really. Fuck off you unfunny little fecker, before I start a riot of my own. Right then. Cup of tea?
  16. Precisely my point jaybee82. Throw them in prison for sure. Remove any legal source of income and watch the crime rate soar. Idiocy.
  17. And how are they going to eat with no legal source of income?
  18. zeban - Peckham, as much done as can be for now. Apparently will need help at 8am tomorrow once the shops have sorted out their insurance. If you are free tomorrow morning and still want to help out, give me a shout.
  19. Pretty much what Mockers said. The personal is political, and the fact that these kids seem to think they stand to lose nothing is an indictment of the state we find ourselves in. No excuses, no justification - just saying this is society's problem.
  20. @phoeberoberts coordinating Peckham - "Heading up rye lane. Peckham high. Street all clean #riotcleanup @Riotcleanup" But yeah, might go and have a shufty myself.
  21. zeban - just anecdotal, so trying to find out a bit more

Even in times of adversity, East > Dulwich leads the way :-). goosey-goosey, not sure if you were being flippant, my comedy radar has gone somewhat awry these past 24 hours, but please don't think East Dulwich has a monopoly on wanting to do something or is leading the way. We have a bad enough reputation as it is without suggesting that we're somehow better than all the other communities who want to show solidarity. According to twitter, Peckham already almost cleaned up.
  23. Zut alors!
