  1. There was a fab club in Briston that used to host Lost. Access via an industrial lift. Strangely due to the state of my brain when I was there I can't remember the name of it.
  2. The only one capable of taking Cameron and Osborne to task is Corbyn. I believe he will show their tiny majority for what it is. Electable? Maybe not but strong opposition is probably more important in saving the poor and vulnerable. I cannot stress enough what damage this govt is deliberately doing to people with nothing. Driving them to extreme measures and actions simply to survive. I don't want to collude with a society that does that. Jeremy Corbyn is the only Labour candidate that seems to agree with me. Sorry if it upsets or gets in the way of people's rampant drives for more money but I'd rather see children eat well and not be made homeless.

Err the vote has not started yet. I have made my mind up and will be voting for Corbyn. The Tories on here are so scared of him that they have persuaded me. Thanks chaps!
  4. Tories on the run I see!
  5. West Wickham. Check it out!
  6. "The Evening Standard had a pretty good article about this today. Sam Leith was the name of the columnist I think " What was the jist of it? Most professionals I know are glad to see the back of this dangerously self publicising charity. As am I!
  7. My heart says Corbyn. However I think he would make a better opposition leader than he would country leader. Were he to become PM then I think the establishment would see to it that he would be quickly and efficiently taken down in "A Very British Coup". I think I am going to simply give up politics and just cross my fingers that the government doesn't kill too many poor people.
  8. The more I think about it the more I think Corbyn. Eat him for breakfast Loz? Cameron would not even know what to have for breakfast without being told. He is a total fucktard!
  9. Having worked with many victims of abuse who are indeed damaged for life I think it is entirely important that their stories are heard and given credence. In the worst cases we are talking about murder. Even now people coming forwards are dying in suspicious circumstances.
  10. As a council employee (not Southwark) I think I should point out just how much the Govt has cut funding to councils. It has been brutal and continues to be so. It's easy to slate the council and often justified, but the pressures are phenomenal. Call centres being set up because they are cheaper than having professional staff answering the phone etc. My council are still running Windows XP ffs because the cost of upgrade is too much! Oh, and we are making people redundant hand over fist! This goes in hand with procuring cheaper contracts and you get what you pay for....... Anyway.... You mentioned ombudsman and this is definitely a good route, but you will have to exhaust Southwarks complaints procedure first or they will simply bat it back. If you have not put in official complaint I would suggest doing so straight away to start the ball rolling. Best of luck!
  11. Mates of mine have upgraded Sony's with no hiccups other than card reader no longer functions. They even solved that.
  12. *puts thread on follow
  13. If you are that way inclined there is more APP freedom on Android than IOS.
  14. I have only two words to say to North London Nationalists. Seven Sisters!
  15. Facetious. I work with the Trilogy plus team over there and sometimes it seems the entire borough is stabbing each other. That wasn't meant to rhyme.
  16. Half of the youth of Lewisham will be incarcerated within a week.
  17. Justification? 80% of the public are anti fox hunting apparently. Where's the justification? I think he has just proven to the public that EVEL has a huge downside too. Also shows he is a snide coont that will do anything to manipulate the vote.
  18. NIMBBY Not in my back building yard
  19. Look at West Wickham
  20. Comparable charity chief execs are on well over ?100k.
  21. Sol Campbell anyone?

    Council tip

It was the only one where you didn't have to. Lewisham, Bromley, Lambeth all insist. Many a time I used to drop things off there on my way back home to Bromley from work in Tower Hamlets because of this. Hardly surprising they've cottoned on! Shame as the queues aren't as bad!
