  1. Done. Cheque in the post... Alan Medic Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > I'll take ?225.
  2. 2 tickets to the closing ceremony. I'll give you ?150.00 to take them off my hands.
  3. Very close RD, VERY close. ETA: Meaden rubbing her fingers gets right on my goat as well...
  4. The opening sequence of Dragons Den.
  5. Always thought it was winner stays on. I get bored after one game anyhow so never affected me. If I wanted a table to masel for a couple hours I'd book it at Canavans though, just not to get embroiled in any internal pub politics, that have the potential to escalate into, " That's the rules round these parts, and aye, 2 shots DO carry".., ???? 6. Yep...all over bar the shouting. Well done. Wonder what the boy a few holes back got lifted for. Rory pointed him out to the Feds/ Stewards. Then it looked like Sergio was away into the crowd to pagger somebody (comfort break apparently). All went a bit strange...
  7. You can then head over to the new bar- The Four Quarters and have a PAC-man and Space Invaders tourney...
  8. What on earth was the Rabbit doing to make windows shake. I know they have a reputation for going at it hammer and tongs but really?
  9. Canavans on Rye Lane might suit. It has a bar and you can book tables I seem to recall Alan Medic Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Thanks for all the suggestions. 10. Will settle in for his 14.30 tee off. May even have a wee glass of wine. Hope he holds it together.
  11. Few years ago, this was going on. No kid screaming. When I did initially hear then, my initial thought was it was shouty swearing. Possibly same? http://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/forum/read.php?5,543811,556211#msg-556211
  12. 6 shot lead MM. Reckon he can keep the head and win tomorrow? Hope so.
  13. Magazines that say, 'see inside, p90". Then p90 isn't listed and I have to count back from p86. These aresholes are taking the piss.
  14. Gets best of weather today apparently. Ditto Woods. Woods lurking is a danger. Wonder how Rory's 2nd round slump will be today...getting a bit of a mental thing IMO.
  15. Whatever happened to the other poster who was setting up a cocktail bar? Cant find that thread but they seemed to be near sorting venue, talked about food etc. They reckoned HoT wasnt much cop. Radio silence.
  16. Finished around 10.35, started on stage just after 7.30. I had no probs getting home ( did leave 5 mins early as encore was coming on to avoid huge crush at tube). I live Peckham Rye, so get tube to Canada Water the Overground to PR. Took about 20 mins and was in Gowlett for a pint just after 11. Not a huge fan but show was good and it was a free ticket.
  17. All - i never did get round to sorting anything out. Interest wasnt there at the time and i had jiggered my back. I'd reckon we would need a minimum of 4. Everybody gets 2 games - maybe best of 3. Would need to book 2 courts consecutively I guess. Work out a fiver each and then a couple shandies after. Worth having a go? Perhaps PM me - getting a time and date be the problem. Saurday mornings from 11.00am best for me. Cheers
  18. See EP - this is the type of convo i'd LOVE to be having in the pub with you....there would be no need for me to review seating prior picking my spot. :) El Pibe Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > floor
  19. Yep, thats impressive skillz... El Pibe Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > it was 3 out of 5, sorry, still pretty mad.
  20. 3 times in a row? Or just 3 times, after hitting ball after ball? V impressive if the former, but if he was there all day at it not so I reckon. I've often thought if I spent all day on a easy par 3 I should get a hole in one. Maybe not, but would like to give it a go. What you reckon MM El Pibe Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Nashoi, not in the same league I'll grant you but > matt le Tissier bet an old school mate of mine > that played for Southampton, that he could hit a > 50p in the penalty area 3 times from the corner > flag. > Le tis won his bet, I'd be surprised if Lineker > could have managed that either ;-)

  22. Hand dryer hoggers. The ones that stand there until hands completelty 100% dry and then some. Surely the last drops can absorbed on the trouser.
