  1. This reminds me of the work at the junction of Peckham Rye and ED Road. It was there for months and it wasn't until the poor little girl was killed that it finished.
  2. I thought the line that runs through Herne Hill was more frequent....does the PR one stop at all the other stations on the Thameslink like W. Hampstead, Cricklewood, Borehamwood...etc. And think here are only a few Thameslink trains a day from Denmark Hill as well.
  3. Maybe the pressure cooking would partially remove the skins and then you could rinse them off!

  5. Put in a call to the Standard or South London Press. ayresc, I don't understand your post - impacting the customer experience?
  6. Herne Hill is a good station to use, or live near to. It has the Thameslink.....
  7. Lady Muck, Here is a delish brownie recipe just for you - and it doesn't have FRUIT! http://lizzieeatslondon.blogspot.com/2010/07/squidgiest-brownies-you-ever-did-taste.html
  8. You should subscribe to her blog and then you get email updates. Did you read the Khans post?
  9. My pages are showing them again, on right hand side. I use Firefox and have a Macbook.
  10. Go into her search box and put in hummus. It will come up with The Warwick Wingding first and then just scroll down to find it.
  11. Have a look at Helen's blog:- http://www.helengraves.co.uk/ She has a recipe for home made hummus and it involved peeling each individual chick pea! She also has a new posting about a food festival this weekend in SE24 AND she has a post on Khan's.
  12. My pages are ok now. Saw the mounted logos for a while though. Were they supposed to be there?
  13. Camberwell has Denmark Hill and Loughborough Junction.
  14. I must say I agree with the 10 minutes wait at Victoria, although this is in the rush hour. Haven't had any problems outside of rush hour. I believe it is the busiest station in Britain, or maybe even Europe.

  16. James, do you know when the burglars caught in the act were apprehended? There are a quite a few people who have been done by having their windows taken out which seems extreme to me.

Wasn't the door locked so they couldn't get it open with door bolts or something?
  18. Dulwichflower, if you move to Nunhead it doesn't mean you can't be on the Forum. The Forum has said they don't like properties outside of the ED area being advertised for rent or sale. That's really it.
  19. Dulwichflower, just send hadenuff a private message.

Where was I being flippant? I genuinely did not understand why the post(s) had been removed. If it is the case that Nunhead property can't be advertised then perhaps it should say so in the blurb on the thread. That could save Admin the problem of deleting them. I did flag up the other posts as it seemed odd they were there and the other wasn't. Perhaps those wishing to advertise their properties out of the immediate area could offer a contribution to the running of the Forum in return for them being allowed to place an advert.

Eh? Can you be a bit more specific.....
  22. I just found 4 recent ads that weren't in ED. They are in the top of the Property Section.
  23. Administrator Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > No, it's the same as it has always been. Don't think it was ever clearly defined before. Some people living in East Dulwich SE22 can't afford to stay here (rent or buy) so naturally look for something nearby.
