  1. I came across this article on the BBC today and whilst the use of face recognition cameras is a bit of an invasion of privacy at the same time I find the response from "big brother watch" a bit bizarre as surly any help the police get in capturing and removing criminals from the streets should be welcomed not frowned upon. BBC News - Met Police: Live facial recognition cameras result in 17 arrests in south London https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-68638348 What do others think ?
  2. I feel like Nostradamus now.... BBC News - Energy prices could change at different times of the day https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-68655725

  7. Maybe Thanos had the right idea and we need to reduce population to stop pollution Although as someone pointed out that as he made 50% of living matter vanish, that includes gut microbes and everyone was in for a sh!tty time after 😅
  8. At weekends Mal also likes to don his anorak and stand on the end of platforms, "oh look thete goes a class 255 diesel shunt" he cries 🤣
  9. It's an old trick They put a sleave into the slot to stop your card coming out then observe you putting your pin in thevsecond time, then after you go, they pull the card our and have your pin number too The second card bit is so that they can try it on that card as most people use the same pin across all their cards Sorry to hear the reaction you got and the fact your husband was scammed.
  10. I'm right Today its Greggs that's down 🫣
  11. Hey, don't bring me into the cat fight 😾🙀
  12. Makes you sound slightly paranoid 😳 DR, any service or website you use obviously leaves a footprint, it is a question of who can see it and what they do with that information that is critical
  13. Ah Thats alright then Carry on squandering regardless 😅
  14. Forget phone thieves in East Dulwich, there are bigger thieves afoot (!) Who are they going to rent office space out to, due to flexible working a lot of firms are downsizing or moving out of London. Sounds like fantasy accounting there.
  15. Going back to the question on potholes and why fines / fees raised via schemes like CPZs or LTNs aren't being used to fix them, this article was on the bbc today: BBC News - Potholes: Roads in England and Wales at 'breaking point' https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-68598875 Question is where is all the money going, obviously not fixing potholes with it. 🤔
  16. Lol You sound like you are Cats stalker or fan boy 😉🤣 Got to admit checking when users are on isn't something I've done.
  17. Are you able to see forum ip records and frequency of access because normal users can't 🤔
  18. That's a good point Trinidad Roads across the Borough seem to have the worst potholes in years despite it being a mild winter so the council can't blame it on freezing and thawing damage. Why hasn't the extra cash generated through CPZs and LTNs been used to repair the roads? With the amount of revenue raised, which should be reserved for road based projects, one would almost expect tje streets to be paved with gold 🤣 Therefore why are the potholes worse thos year which is a danger for motorists and cyclists alike ?
  19. Only for deliveries, they take card in the resturant
  20. Who knows with how politicians flip flip to win voters support 🤔
  21. What does southwark provide for that amount of money? Does it include services like heating? Or is it basic only ? Sounds like motorists aren't the only cash cows being milked by councils 🤫
  22. Winds of change are coming BBC News - LTNs: Councils told to consider residents' support under new guidance https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-68588254
