Just raising my ugly head now, after popping into the Bishop on way home!! What a great evening, thoroughly enjoyed meeting you all and twasnt anywhere near what I imaged. This will be a definate in my social calendar from now on. :))
Think we must all be getting old Sean, I remember "the good ole days" when we had camps and red bus rover days etc. I was brought up pretty strictly but still had ten times more freedom than my kids have got.
Can I borrow it for just a sec. Just started letting my 10 year old walk from East Dulwich Grove down to the Hamlet with a few of his mates. Very nervous at first and trailed him from behind and was amazed/chuffed at how sensible and responsible he was. Its hard to let go but it gives them a real buzz to know that theyre grown up enough to be let loose a little.
Sorry Administrator, just a quickie to Jah Lush. Malcs having a 40th at the Gypsy tomorrow. Cathy asked me to mention it to all the gang. Lots of musicians etc if youre about:)-D
I dont usually join in the 4x4 debate, but I can tell you when you have 4 or 5 of them looking for spaces down a very narrow two way street getting more and more flustered, its a blinking nightmare.
Nightmare traffic around East Dulwich Grove with too many :Xmummies picking up kids in 4x4s that they cant drive properly. Its a danger to the kids if nothing else
