  1. Never going on that site again, thats the sort of thing that could keep me up til all hours of the morning. Utterly addictive.
  2. I have discussed it with my kids and unfortunately it seems that spandex and superheros go hand in hand. My son did however suggest going as Misty from Pokemon although she isnt REALLY a superhero in my eyes.
  3. Yep, seems strange as its about the busiest street apart from LL.

  5. I dont know the details but I met my friends at 5pm last night at the Drum and they had just seen the police with a young girl who was saying she had been attacked. Any news on this?

  8. I have Mr Greens "Dulwich, A History" and after a very quick scan it says... The Old Manor house of Friern had been transformed by the mid-nineteenth century into a modern-run dairy farm, but a tempting offer the the British Land Company precipitated its sale.

  16. Re. Muff, you remember the victorian pictures of ladies with their hands in a furry sort of erm, glove type thingy, hanging from a string around their neck? No! Well I think that is why the Muff you are thinking of was called a muff!

  19. Had my first foray into the CPT on Saturday (hope you enjoyed your birthday Bagpuss) and it felt abit alien. Went into the bar and all in there stopped and looked and went abit quiet. I've sort of forgotten that that happens in a regulars pub as havent been to one for a while. A bit unnerving! That wasnt a slur on the CPT btw!
  20. A Woo Woo. Come on lads, that's just silly::o
  21. Re. Apple bobbing *Bob*, being a responsible parent and all that jazz, I prefer biting the doughnuts to apple bobbing as I worry that the precious ones might get a chill! I tie doughnuts on the washing line, tie their hands behind their backs and the first one to finish their doughnut wins. Health and safety but with loads of fun and laughter. SORTED!!
  22. I might be SLIGHTLY biased but its always The Drum for me. :)-D
  23. Ring my Bell.....was that Patrice Rushen (spelling). Anyway, I thought some of you were going to take your toons to The Drum on Saturday!! Just spoke to Cooper and he was very disappointed that the 80's songmasters didnt show up.
  24. And it doesnt fill me with sorrow.
  25. I'll save you one of my big fireworks for Saturday.
