I got my consultation pack yesterday. I'm yet to open it! Just wanted to add I thought exactly as you have above. Sooner or later all independent stores will disappear due to the high costs to keep them going! This cpz is a complete farce & just another money making ploy! They act like its for your benefit but yet the f****** are screwing you over as they always do!

Crown and Greyhound NY Eve - ticketed?
sweetgirl replied to Robert Poste's Child's topic in The Lounge
I think you could be right about that! When I was telling my friend about my night she suggested I should've gone to prince of Peckham.... Saying that I'm definitely over 40 but my mind tells me I'm still in my 20's! 😎😜 Mick Mac Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Peckham's emergence has hit the LL bar scene quite > hard I think. Crown and Greyhound NY Eve - ticketed?
sweetgirl replied to Robert Poste's Child's topic in The Lounge
To be honest, without going into details I went out by accident. It's been at least 8yrs since I celebrated NYE away from my home. I guess I just expected a bit more excitement! Lol The fiver weren't too bad to pay, but not for a dead night! I went there about 11.30pm, by 12.30 am I was back home! I can't see that happening again in a hurry, next year I'll probably snuggle up to my duvet! Crown and Greyhound NY Eve - ticketed?
sweetgirl replied to Robert Poste's Child's topic in The Lounge
Probably no more than about 40 people in there, Absolutely no effort made by the bar as it was a "special" NYE night..... To be honest it seems like the lane has gone quite downhill for nights out I used to go nearly every weekend about 10 yrs ago, the vibe has completely changed! I generally pass through the lane on weekends & find it nowhere near to how busy it used to be! I have to say liquorice was my favourite place back then! Thankfully another forum user responded instantly & we managed to get it reset. The forum is a great place to be part of..... There's good & bad in everything but I'd say more good than bad on the forum! 😎😀😍 Merry Christmas to you all

I purchased an iPad mini quite some time ago on the forum. My LO has managed to disable it. Unfortunately I am unable to reset it to factory settings to get it back to its original state. I don't have the details of who I purchased it from neither. We've tried to go on to iTunes to reset it but no joy. Are there any Apple techs out there who may know how to get around this? Can anybody help me?

Thank goodness I don't have the energy to entertain certain arguments on the forum. I guess everyone is entitled to an opinion & it's quite clear we all have different mindsets. The title clearly accident on lordship lane, if you find an accident ghoulish, it might be wise not to click on the thread! Simple..... Over & out

I couldn't have written it better myself! I find it disturbing when charity knockers come to my door esp as there's not enough hours in my day Secondly I do my charity work personally when I travel. I refuse to donate to many charities in the uk as a lot of money gets spent on advertising. Also, many charitable organisations are becoming very greedy.... This includes many pop up churches which have appeared over the past few years.

I've just got in.... It was an absolute nightmare trying to get home! -
There are no buses going through lordship lane currently, aside from the p13. It looks like they are diverted through etherow st then back on line from goose green roundabout.

My LO has what I consider to be quite bad eczema, mainly behind the knees & on the arms. Does anybody have any ideas or treatments that could help make it more manageable? We're currently using hydromol, but I have found the eczema has recently got worse. It's causing sleepless nights & constant scratching during the day. Any ideas appreciated Many thanks in advance

I got a so called lucky ticket.... Wasn't nothing to shout about tho What I can tell you is they caught a shoplifter within half hour of the store opening! But yes of course there was a buzz..... I personally think the buzz was more In relation to the freebies people wanted! The store manager seemed happy & at ease about the whole process -
Or some other type of leak..... Football losing air? A soda bottle slightly open losing its gas? Don't know what else to suggest.....
