  1. Not to be disparaging of alternative therapy, but have you tried conventional medication with proven scientific results? Our elderly cat started limping after an overly ambitious jump, and we were recommended METACAM by our vet - Lordship Lane Vets - and it's done him the world of good. Limp is gone, his self cleaning is improved and he seems much happier within himself.
  2. Hi there I run a web design studio in ED, and I'd be happy to discuss your website with you. We have lots of experience in web design & development, and we produce sites that are mobile/tablet friendly and search engine optimised. We also specialise in branding and print design. Please email or call me and we can have a chat about your requirements. [email protected] 07720 712553 Bryan Campbell Rhino Studio
  3. I need a dress altered for my wife. Any recommendations?
  4. Huge thank you and recommendation for Andrew Brock Automobile Engineer at 31A Shawbury Rd. Andrew recently got my old Citroen Picaso through its MOT, carrying out repairs in the process including unexpectedly fitting a broken wing mirror that I'd bought but never got round to doing myself. The cost of repairs was a very pleasant surprise too, coming in a lot less than I'd feared for an older car. Great work, great customer service and great prices. 5. Yep. It's great! Our favorite Chinese in the area.
  6. Hi all We have a large black and white male regularly coming through our garden with an open injury to it's leg and neck - fox maybe? It's quite dirty/scruffy, and I'm guessing it's a stray. It's also quite nervous when approached so I can't get a good look at it's wounds. It's around the 306 Medical Centre end of LL. Does anyone know if a cat matching the desc. have an owner in the area? If not, does Celia Hammond trap cats for assessment/treatment? I'll try to get a photo of it next time it visits. Thanks Bryan
  7. So bloody pointless! ?35 I didn't need to spend. Luckily it's fairly easy to fit.
  8. I've just seen someone has kicked or pulled off the wing mirror on my car. The casing is totally cracked, so it must have been a good thump!! It was on the pavement side, so not a passing car impact. We are just down from 106 Medical Centre. Anyone else have their car damaged between 7pm last night and 1pm today?
  9. Hi Julie Just sent you a PM. Bryan Campbell Rhino Studio
  10. Thanks also to the young guy who was frantically knocking on doors trying to find it's owner. Good hearted guy.
  11. A big ginger tom cat was hit by a car this evening at 7.15pm, outside our house on Lordship Lane (just down from 306 Medical centre). We rushed him urgently to Lordship Lane Vets, but sadly he passed away. He was a very big, furry, uncastrated male. He wasn't microchipped. Ginger and white - ginger face with a white stripe around his neck. If this is your cat, or if you know the owner, you can call me: Bryan 07720 712553 I took a photo of his face if you need to identify him. He passed away very, very quickly. We had him wrapped in a blanket, spoke to him and stroked his head all the way to the vet. He has been left in the care of Lordship Lane Vets and will be cremated tomorrow. If this is your cat, and you want to call the vets to find out arrangements, their number is: 020 8693 4677 I'm so sorry if this is your cat.
  12. My workmates up in Scotland are cyber-stalking my ED activity, so I'd like to make them feel a little more included. If you are reading this, could you please say Hi to Clive and James! Thanks.
  13. We need our curtains lined for winter. Do you guys have any recommendations?
  14. Can enthusiastically second the recommendation for Lisa from Bowwowmiaow - [email protected] She is super awesome with our boy, and we wouldn't use anyone else.
  15. Yeah sorry, I DID mean the 197. Thanks for the correction Davidq. And DulwichFox, it's normally at 4.45am, so HUGE apologies for the blurred focus on bus numbers! You seem a little worked up about it. Almost in disbelief! Does someone need a hug?
  16. I do the trip regularly, and get the 176 at Dulwich Library to East Croydon station and then the train to Gatwick. Takes approx 1hr 10 min, which is pretty much the same time as a cab and a LOT cheaper. 1 oyster bus ticket and ?4.90 for the train. The bus leaves from 4.45am approx onwards.
  17. YEah, I second that. Luckily, it's our local. The staff are friendly, the beer selection is great and the food is really good. Good, but competitive pub quiz on a Thursday too.
  18. Hi John See this link: Someone looking for help with a garden. Bryan

  21. Your cakes are hands down the best I've ever tasted! We moved into the area at the start of the year, and it's always exciting to see you on a Saturday outside the Cheese Block. Heartily recommended.
  22. "Genuine" psychic? If the scientific community haven't had any luck finding one, then I don't hold out much hope!
