  1. Nesbitt again (sorry) he did the Dulwich Park 5k run yesterday in a half decent time- not exactly sure what time but he finished at least a minute or 2 before me and I did it 24 mins.
  2. Can't Wait Another Minute - Five Star
  3. Start in park out to Court Lane, into village for a bit, finish off in park. Nearly got hit by a huge Merc that was pulling out of someone's drive - other than that it was good fun!
  4. Did it in 24:09 according to my watch - I was slightly disappointed as I'd hoped for 23 mins. Anyway, it was good fun and me my fellow running mates ended up in the Crown and Greyhound for a well deserved drink and steak sandwiches!
  5. that's luvverly that is:))
  6. You able to watch it? Aren't you in detention with Mr Administrator?!
  7. Wop-bop-a-loom-a-blop-bam-boom
  8. that annoying little French (or pretending to be French) girl, "Petit Filou bla bla bla"
  9. So, Mr Buoyant Allium Cepa, did you actually meet someone through this forum or what?! edited for crap spelling
  10. who? an actual person?!
  11. They're slightly more sexier than a Ford Focus too!
  12. yes you can just turn up today without advance booking - think it's ?9.
  13. Worst: Picture Loan advert where bloke is on the phone arranging a loan "One less job for her". Hate it hate it. Best: Nationwide advert - the chubby guy "That pays for the bubbly at the shareholders meeting - glug glug".
  14. Has anyone received their 'pack' yet? I sent off my payment and details to the address given on website but haven't received anything as yet. I'm assuming you are supposed to get something in the post as they asked for an SAE?
  15. Only one reason why I am watching Wimbledon this year: NADAL'S ARMS>:D
  16. Keef Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Oi Sydenham has lots of beautiful houses, you just > need to get off the high street. Quite right. Bishopsthorpe/Queensthorpe/Dukesthorpe etc and Mayow Road and Cator Road have stunning houses. (Had to step in and defend SE26!)

  18. "So no one can say they don't go Peckham Rye because it smells or its dirty - it just makes me wonder what the real reason is" Er, you've just answered your own question. If I go to Peckham it's because I have to - to get a train as the links are good, Argos for electrical/household appliances and for some ?2 thongs from Primark!! However, it's not somewhere you'd go just for a stroll as that high street is so bloody depressing. Unlike Rye Lane, I do not need a reason to go to Lordship Lane. I can happily walk about, sit outside and have a coffee/drink/something to eat without the smell of rotting meat and littered pavements. Am sure most people will agree and it doesn't make us all racists.
  19. I saw Gloria from Desmonds (the daughter) yesterday outside Mon Petit Chou. My partner stopped to talk to her as we're always watching Desmonds repeats on Sky!
  20. A few years ago I got off the train at Peckham Rye to see a man 'shooting up' on the platform. It was broad daylight. Anyway, I don't think it's Rye Lane that's particularly 'unsafe'- although it does stink and every time I get off the bus I want to be sick - it's 'frontline Peckham' (what we call it) that I don't like; around Sumner Road/Peckham Hill St etc. I know a few people who used to live around there and are relieved to have moved.
  21. big beast of a weapon it is too!
  22. I dunno what's worse - real sun or sun bed so can't answer that. The spray tan at Natura sun and St Tropez, if applied PROPERLY, are not orange and there is no way you would tell it's fake. Been using St Tropez for years on my boat race and I don't look like I have been tangoed!
