  14. I dont know what kind of bird it is buy yes they get me most mornings (Northcross Road) about 5am and don't stop until they have fully woken me. Then off they go to annoy someone else. Drives me mad!!!
  15. Hi James Is there an update on the work re: Goose Green playground? Every time I am passing (twice a day) and spending time in there (often for lunch a few times a week after nursery) no work at all seems to be taking place. There are 3 or 4 men sometimes shifting a bit of cement but they are mostly standing around smoking and chatting. When I enquired with one of the workmen they told me by rights it should only take a few weeks to complete but he could see it taking much longer. When I asked if he were the only one doing any work he looked quite frustrated and just shook his head! How do these things work, dont they have a site manager or something? Completion date? Thanks a lot Steph
  16. I walk past the builing site/new entrance on CP Road daily and I must say its really coming on. Any further updates or are they still heading for May/early June?

  19. Scott as a mother of a young child and soon to be new aby who lives opposite the pub I would be interested to know what the opening hours will be and also what time people will be allowed outside until? Will it be a family pub like the Herne or more in keeping with the Bishop???
  20. Any idea's for 3.5 year old? Do Millwall cover this age group for a couple of hours a day? My hubby is a Millwall fan so would probably love to take our wee boy to something like that at the weekend. My son is getting very lazy also so I want to keep him active!!!
  21. Looks like its doing the rounds, my toddler had it a few weeks ago at the back end of a cold. I used boiled water to wipe it all off then the ointment, Chloramphenicol which is easy to apply. Went after about a week. Make sure you get your wee one to wash her hands regularly as its really infectious.
  22. I have had experienced the wrath of the Manager at Mind, he is incredibly rude, most of the time. I was only trying to offer him some books but his attitude when telling me they didn't need them was quite shocking. I have seen him behave in the same way towards others since. He does need to be brought down a peg or two!
  23. Thanks for all the advise everyone...The itching seemed to ease up a bit last night and today. Also it's not particularly bad on the hands and feet, just all over my skin really. Pickle, largeginandtonic, did you get days that were better than others or was it constant and did it get worse as your pregnancy progressed? I have been eating so much chocolate, fatty foods and dairy throughout this pregnancy that it could well be related. If it persists over the next few days I will nip up to Kings. Thanks again x
