    Petty Annoyances

People who give it loads dancing to the music in shops and people at concerts who sing to the song but don't know a single word.

    Petty Annoyances

The person who brushes their obviously very matted jet black hair in the changing rooms (Fusion every Monday, first thing) and leaves it all over the floor for the rest of us to get tangled up in. Please stop, it?s making me go insane. Also men who can't cross the road properly.
  8. I was forced to sing "Darlin" by Frankie Miller (though I think the Johnny Reid version is best) whilst doing the cleaning with my mammy when I was young ..My young son sings it now also which always brings a tear to my eye and will stay with me forever! http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=BkxJPHuAOlA
  9. "Only Me" really made me laugh....
  10. Well done Asset - your such a clever girl! xxxx
  11. This is great news. Does it run through the summer holidays also? If not do you have a list of things going on for under two's? Its 1.30 until 3.30 isnt it? Thanks Steph
  12. I think the leggings are a no no, they rarely look good on anyone. Shouldn't really wear tights in June unless you really have to and the coloured ones don't really work either unless your under 25. As for the knee high socks again 21 and under. BB, coming from Liverpool (very much like Newcastle in the fashion stakes) I know all the girls will be bare legged wearing little else and while you are trying to avoid that look, I think the best thing would be to build up your false tan. Go for the natural look of course, add your vintage strappy shoes and away you go.. Go for classy rather than trendy would be my advise
  13. Yeah thats a good idea! My fella has loads of old vinyl dance music from the early 90's and knows his stuff so that could be something also my best mate is a real book worm so... Only really have a Saturday on the market (the rest of the days Ill have my wee boy with me if I dont work) but could also do it online once I get going. Thanks for that one.
  14. Right then, I am working a 3 day week at the moment and after child care plus travel am bringing home ?500 per month. Any ideas how I can make this either working from home, ebay or on a market stall (a garden front at the wrong end of Northcross Road which I have access to) Someone suggested selling ice-cream on market day or maybe old school flip flops, trendy sunglasses/hats? Any ideas would be great. I currently work for a media agency in new biz so have a bit of a knack for sales I suppose...
  15. Thanks Everyone am off for a few beverages now to celebrate xxxx
  16. I don't intend to be heading into the mosh pitt with him so while I am going to get some protection for his ears anyway he won't be anywhere near the speakers. Can't say I have ever noticed that on TV or while at festivals but there you go... citizenEd thanks for the tip, I was thinking vodka Jellies actually?
  17. Taking our 18 month old to the Isle of White Festival this year. Would love any tips and advise... Thanks Steph
  18. He probably wont thank me for this (not that i know him) but I see Rob Da Bank (radio 1 DJ) on Goose Green quite often
  19. I was at the little park at Sainsbury?s a few weeks ago with my young baby and there was one other mum with her little one. He approached both of us hassling us for money, he was very intimidating. You could see he was totally wired and he wasn?t taking no for an answer. It was only when a few passing people stopped and started watching him that he decided to go. I don?t usually panic too much but when you?ve got your kids with you and someone is high on crack its pretty scary. I would just walk pretty fast if I seen him again but would also make a point of watching him if he was driving someone else mad. He?s a fricking pest.
  20. This is a long shot but i have two tickets to see Groove Armada for Saturday 17th November. I have just spoken to a friend and he is going on Friday 16th November. Would really like to go with my other friends so would anyone like to swap their Friday night tickets to Saturday night?? Thanks Steph
