Nearly ?1,500 for a season ticket in the West Stand at Spurs and I still have to pay for Cup games. ?79 last night and ?25 each for the Europa Cup ties so far. It's a very long time since you could just turn up at the turnstiles and pay a few bob to get in and I've been at Spurs when there's been over 70,000 crammed into out little ground. We need to start building that new stadium NOW if we want to earn the revenue that pays players the sort of obscene wages they earn these days. I said on here a few weeks back that things could get a whole lot worse before they got better and I wasn't wrong was I. It's never easy being a Spurs fan. It's the hope that kills you. Anyway, I'm going to Dulwich Hamlet on Saturday to watch some proper football and hope that my recent run of bad luck doesn't put the voodoo on 'em. Happy Christmas everyone and good luck to West Ham in the cup.

I was born in Kings and I was in and out of there as a patient during the 80s and 90s when I was very ill and I've been in A & E quite a bit too and each and every time the staff have been amazing. I can't praise them enough for the care I have received over the years. We're very lucky to have such a great hospital on our doorstep.

He had a big problem with the kerb crawler David Pleat at the time who was director of football. Also, hopefully Glenn's man management skills have improved since then too. His last management job at Wolves was a big mistake but there's no doubt Glenn's coaching talents and footballing philosophy have been somewhat underused.

I'd get a new head cleaning CD first and try that and if that doesn't work I would suggest that the laser has gone and you'll need a new CD player.

I still haven't forgiven Levy for the disgraceful way he sacked Martin Jol, a thoroughly decent man and a bloody good manager despite his recent sacking at Craven Cottage. Anyway, Tim Sherwood is taking charge of first team matters for the time being. Should be an interesting night on Wednesday.

Yep, that's fair. ?30 million for Lamela and we can't even get him on the pitch. Only Cheriches has been a success as far as I'm concerned, the rest have been piss poor. Too many new signings playing like strangers.

Answering your own posts Mac. Tut tut. Nevertheless, we can't play a high defensive line with someone like Michael Dawson in the back four because of his serious lack of pace. Dawson and Etienne Capoue (who's not really a centre back) were a makeshift pairing yesterday as we have so many injuries at the back. They played together like strangers. Playing Kyle Naughton at left back never works either. He was worse than useless yesterday, so bad he was taken off at half-time. I've nothing against a high line but you need defenders with pace for it to work. Just look at Southampton, who play the same way - seems to work for them. The only players who came out with any credit yesterday were Kyle Walker and Lewis Holtby and maybe Aaron Lennon. The rest of them were just bloody awful. a really bad day at the office. Unfortunately, we're having a few too many of those.

Gertcha! I could pick so many holes in our performance today but I really wouldn't know where to start and I don't want to make any excuses because there is no excuse for a performance like that. We were absolutely bloody awful and Liverpool were superb. It was embarrassing. I've not felt so angry after a game at WHL in a very very long time. I want to keep the faith with AVB but if we lose against West Ham on Wednesday night then I will be shouting louder than anyone that he's got to go. I want my Tottenham back.

So, Steve Clarke has been sacked. I thought that was a little premature but what do I know. He's obviously a good coach and I reckon he can count himself a little unlucky in his first management job with his team underperforming recently. So he's available, would West Ham fans take him over BFS?
