  1. Fuck me! The Lumineers... It's another Trust Fund Wurzels. I hate record companies. One band gets popular and so they want another ten of 'em. Cunts!
  2. Oh gawd... the presenters look about 18.
  3. Hopefully, he'll grow in to it.
  4. The Stones better show the bit where Mick Taylor's in it or I'll feel fucking cheated.
  5. I never went to Locale as I've always enjoyed Si Mangia on Forest Hill Road. Still, ribs n'beer I like the sound of that but the last time I ate spare ribs I broke a tooth so perhaps I won't go there either. ;-)
  6. I thought Henderson improved a lot towards the end of the season. He's still only a young lad and plenty of scope for improvement but I suppose if the ego that is Brendan Rodgers doesn't fancy him and still sees him as one of Kenny Dalgish's expensive flops then that's it for him then.
  7. I think the poor girl who lives in the house suffers mental problems and possibly a persecution complex. She may well have suffered a traumatic experience of some sort or indeed suffered racist and sexual abuse. I've no idea, it's only my opinion. She is certainly troubled. I've seen her around Forest Hill Road and she holds one of those little posters across her face as she walks the streets. Very sad.

Ha ha ha I giggled when I read that. Thank you Mr B. Indeed we did and how very perceptive of you. Not that far from the truth as Mr Steveo is as erudite as Mr Fry. Do join us for a sherbet sometime or if you find yourself in the near vicinity of the above bar pop in and enjoy the goods before it's too late. Chin chin old chap.
  9. I had one of the Scotch eggs. Debloodylicious. They also do a deal with the nearby curry house. You get ten per-cent off your order. I think they may have had one lager on the go, possibly bottled but no one took a blind bit of notice of it. It was largely ignored and made to feel like a bad fart in a crowded lift.

    craft beer

Went to the pop up bar Beer Rebellion opposite Gipsy Hill station on Sunday (as recommended earlier in this thread by Voyageur) Marvellous selection of ales straight out of the barrel, cider too and over 50 different bottled beers. At ?3.20 a pint it is well worth the trip (via East Dulwich station). Be quick though. They may have to close in a couple of week unless they can renew the lease. http://www.lateknightsbrewery.co.uk/1/post/2013/05/join-the-beer-rebellion.html?fb_action_ids=10200106134351359&fb_action_types=og.likes&fb_source=other_multiline&action_object_map=%7B%2210200106134351359%22%3A121152664749656%7D&action_type_map=%7B%2210200106134351359%22%3A%22og.likes%22%7D&action_ref_map=%5B%5D

  12. Indeed. Fabulous little place. I recommend it highly. Some really fine ales were slurped.
  13. Real Madrid and Spurs strike up a partnership where Madrid are allowed to tap up our player(s), bid against us on a player that they don't even want (Paulinho) hence pushing his price up and help our vile scummy neighbours by selling them a class striker.....sheesh with a partnership like that who needs rivals??
  14. It's the beginning of what will be brand Bale. If he makes plenty of money from stuff like that and further endorsements and Spurs can build a winning team around him then hopefully he want to ever leave.
  15. Indeed. Steveo is correct. It's where Mr Pickwick retires to. Now called Pickwick Cottage. I grew up in Pickwick Road dontcha know.
  16. Thank you your Ladyship. I'm afraid I can't share the sentiment to the Wanderers though. That just wouldn't do.
  17. Raymond Chandler also went to Dulwich College.
  18. Lord Byron went to a school where the Grove Tavern now stands on the corner on Lordship Lane and Dulwich Common.
  19. Because I'm a nice bloke and enjoy a healthy sense of humour I'm going to share this, even though I'm Spurs to my boots. All of you Gooners will love it. Especially Parkdrive. Peace. http://www.haveyoueverseentottenhamwintheleague.com/

  23. Oh yes, how we laughed.
  24. Another season of winning fuck all for the Arse then. You qualify for the Champions League and think you've won the Cup. Face it you'll never win it. What is it now 14/15 years of trying and not a sniff for the Wanderers.
  25. Next season's fixtures are up. Spurs first game away to Crystal Palace and third fixture the north London derby at The Effeminates. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/premier-league/fixtures
