  1. For 2017. West Ham relegated. Furious fans blow up the London Stadium (sic) and demand the return of Sam Allardyce.
  2. In case you haven't seen Lee Trundle's unbelievably cheeky penalty trick. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/live/37790811
  3. Apart from Xmas Day where I have been invited round to a friend's house I'm ignoring all of it. I'm not religious and I stopped believing in Santa a very long time ago. I believe in peace and goodwill to everyone all year round, not just at EXCESSmas. It's all a load of fake bollocks designed to take your money.

  5. Bloody hell! That's restrictive. This less so. 97. Wear pants at a Kingdom Hall if you?re a woman.
  6. I've just bought a Jehovah's Witness advent calendar. Every time you open a door someone tells you to fuck off.
  7. Arf arf! http://wundergroundmusic.com/vegan-horrified-to-discover-fiver-he-uses-to-snort-child-slave-farmed-coke-contains-animal-fats/
  8. The lovely staff at The Duck Egg on Northcross Road and their consistently excellent caffeine boosters, (double Americano or Expresso in my case) I salute you.
  9. Oh dear me, Sue. It had to be one of those on the list, that was obvious. Can't you see how predictable and pointless it'll all be? Same old recommendations and dissings repeated ad infinitum. Yawn. I'm bailing out. You have been warned.

You know what's coming now don't you? Hundreds of recommendations of all the usual places that we all know about. There's probably at least half a dozen other "where to go for a decent roast round here" threads on this forum where people have to varying degress recommended or dissed all the usual places and I'm sure you already know that so I'll just tick a few off for you shall I. The Crooked Well Camberwell Arms The Lordship The Great Exhibition The Palmerston EDT Franklins The Plough The White Horse The Rye Watson's General Telegraph The Herne House Of Tippler The Cherry Tree blah blah blah Please excuse if I've missed any out.
  11. 33%! Jeez! It's long been the case that Dulwich Estates are incompetent, rapacious barstewards.
  12. Another Antic pub. No bad thing that. And it is a nice pub. I use it occasionally when in Penge.
  13. Doh! Of course. Sorry, I obviously had a senior moment.
  14. ATYD, what's that PGC?
  15. I think part of the problem is the fact that roasts are so popular in the various establishments around here on a Sunday and the cooking of the potatoes to get them nice and crisp takes so long that they can't keep up with the orders so the spuds go out as they are at the time that everything else that goes on the plate is ready.
  16. Wow! Never seen that. Thanks for posting Edhistory.
  17. HonaloochieB is back. Oh, thank the Lord above. Deep joy. Welcome back. You're posts always make me smile.

I'd love to see this film too.
  19. Have a look in the What's On section.
  20. I reckon big business has destroyed more pubs than the fecking Luftwaffe. Bastards! I remember my mum talking about the doodlebugs and their engines cutting, the fear that it might be you. As a child I also remember playing on a few bombsites. There were still plenty of them around in Dulwich in the 60s and right up through to the 70s.
  21. Good stuff. Thanks for the link.
  22. 90% of men kiss their wife goodbye when they leave the house. The rest kiss their house goodbye when they leave the wife.?
  23. Excuse me, is there some kind of re-branding of The Bliar going on here? Have I missed something? I did vote for him in '97 and I agree he was pretty good up until he became Bush's simpering little whore. He's a war criminal. Plain and simple. Let's not forget that.
