Wedding first dance and pre marriage counselling recommendations
Jah Lush replied to Blueskye's topic in The Lounge
90% of men kiss their wife goodbye when they leave the house. The rest kiss their house goodbye when they leave the wife.? -
Excuse me, is there some kind of re-branding of The Bliar going on here? Have I missed something? I did vote for him in '97 and I agree he was pretty good up until he became Bush's simpering little whore. He's a war criminal. Plain and simple. Let's not forget that.

Ramsey going down as if he'd been fore arm smashed by Cavani was embarrassing too, no?

Same one I use PT_Hot. I thoroughly recommend them to. Smile@SE22 www.dulwichdentaloffice.com. 43-45 Northcross Road, East Dulwich SE22 9ET. Tel: 0208-693-3339.

Nostalgia freaks. People stuck in a time warp. The constant seeking of their lost youth. The sort of person who goes to 60s/70s/80/90s revival nights/weekends.

Pretty much agree with all of that RD, though I think there are some players who are not performing up to the standards they had set themselves last season. I'm looking at you Ericksen in particular. We've had some injuries to key players this season and that hasn't helped our progress and Spurs are still short of some real creative quality in midfield that little bit of flair that we've had in the past, though those players are not only hard to come by they extremely expensive. The unbeaten run we've experienced in the league is papering over the cracks of our deficiencies since the Man City win. We were a little fortunate against West Ham last weekend and I think our little run will come to an end at Stamford Bridge on Saturday evening. I also think if we put in the kind of performance we put in last night we could be on the end of a good hiding.

You mean that Eric Clapton song, don't you? That coont never did apologise for his disgusting racist outburst in in '76.

Nice one LD. I'm always thanking the drivers on the P13 (a service I use regularly) on alighting. It always feels good to get a wave and a smile back. I'd like to highlight the wonderful resource we have at Dulwich Library. A library I re-joined a few years ago when I was on the dole. Considering what's been happening in our neighbouring borough we're lucky to have it. http://defendthe10-lambeth.org.uk/

A little sore. Thanks for asking. You could have said hello. I'd just gone two weeks without a drop. Had several pints of Adnams Ghost Ship and several large glasses of Merlot. Which was nice. ;-)

Indeed. Lovely shop. Often buy my ciggies in there and maybe top up my oyster card too. Very nice people who run it. Good shout RPC.

Dear Basher, This thread has grown legs and silly ones at that. I agree with your assertion that this thread is headed for The Lounge where it deserves to rot like a corpse.

Henry, dear Henry, surely you mean the North Cross Road market stall? Let's not quibble though. If she brings you such joy I shall seek out her sausage rolls for I am not a man for the salad and my salad days are over. Thank for your contribution.

Sometimes I feel there is far too much negativity in the majority of threads on this forum. People are forever moaning and groaning and slagging off this that and the other, so here's one where you can give credit where it is due and do feel free to join in. My first shout out goes to the consistently marvellous EDT. A really lovely local boozer that I have frequented for well over 30 years where there is a fine selection of very reasonably priced ales and wine etc etc and always a great vibe within its walls. The staff, I feel are all absolutely lovely and deserve a big pat on the back for their hard work and all round general loveliness. It's possible, you may gather I had quite a splendid afternoon in there today and you'd be quite correct in deducing so. Anyway, do feel free to give thanks and praise and credit where it is due. It's nice to be nice.

But we do. It's called keg beer.

The people running the shop could have been Bengali, Indian, Sri Lankan, Ugandan Asian etc etc, though it is entirely within the realms of possibility they were actually from Pakistan but it is also quite possible that your mother didn't bother to find out where they were from or any other person using that awful term back then but called them P***s anyway because of the colour of their skin. It was then and it is even more so now offensive and racist and this isn't the 1960s. As for your Accident Black Spot sign... deary me. You silly old sausage.

The Daily Mail being nice about Peckham

I must have missed that and your reasoning is of course correct but I can only go on my experience of the place. It was a fairly regular haunt of mine in the 90s. Maybe the profits went down when I stopped using it so much. ;-) -

The Wishing Well was a perfectly good local boozer before it had its heart and soul ripped out and turned into The Victoria Inn. It's a classic case of a pub completely ruined by new owners. It is so beige.... or grey judging by its latest lick of paint. -

I kind of mentioned it but haven't been in there for years and had forgotten his name. His dad probably cut my hair. I remember going there when I was a kid. My dad had an office on Rye Lane at the time. Amazed they're still there.

It's all on the thread for everyone to see. No use you calling me names or dragging up an old comments of mine that have absolutely no relevance here to the subject matter. Talk about having time on your hands. The only problem I have is with xenophobic, racist little bigots like you. I'd suggest you go and crawl back into the nasty little hole you crawled out off and stay there... old chap.

WTF is this shit? Well now you mention it. You doing them a favour by turning up for a haircut? You want to try thinking a little bit more before you post this kind of crap if you don't want come across as a Daily Mail/Express/Sun reading xenophobe. BTW - My dad used to take me to a Turkish/Cypriot barber shop on Grove Vale in the 60s where the nail bar is now. Lovely man, obviously long gone now. I also went to a similar place in Peckham too as well as Segars up by the Plough and Jansens on Half Moon Lane (also long gone) I haven't noticed any difference since those days.
