  1. Why let it get you down? I spent the day in much the same way. Don't let it bother you. It's just another Hallmark day to not give a shit about.

  3. Spurs badly miss Danny Rose and Jan Vertongen on that left side of the pitch at the back. Wimmer came in for Verts against Man City and had an absolute mare in the first half against Man City and was taken off and hasn't featured since. He didn't put a foot wrong covering for him when he was injured last season but has been poor whenever he's appeared this season. On Saturday it was Ben Davies turn to have a nightmare. His serious lack of pace is a problem for us and the sooner Rose gets back the better. On current form he's the best left back in Europe. Other than that yeah, an insipid display but still second in the league, which is an improvement on this time last season. I agree that an experienced player could help us, someone who has the experience of winning things and still has the hunger to win more.

  5. Spurs fans on Valentines Day at Slavia Prague 2008.
  6. At last there's an re-opening date. Monday, March 20th. Woo!
  7. Sales does not equate to quality. Any fool should know that. For example, The Sun is still the biggest selling 'newspaper' in this country and we all know what a pile of shit that is apart from the idiots who still insist on buying it.
  8. You do yourself no favours by calling anyone 'you lot.' You seem to find it impossible to engage with anyone because you are an utter dingbat. A presumptuous one too. Yeah, great result. Terrific own goal. Your first time at the Hamlet was it? Feck off Noddy.
  9. Arse biscuits.
  10. There is that... a draw would be good. 0-0 with loads of injuries to both sides would be very nice indeed but while the goal difference is slightly better I'd rather see Chelski lose. Though the rivalry isn't quite as intense as with the Arse, as a club Chelsea represent everything I dislike about the modern game. It would also give other teams a glimmer of hope that they can be beaten. If Spurs can beat them I don't see why other teams can't get a decent result against them and that includes the Arse, despite their recent poor form.
  11. Yeah, interesting. I agree about the running order. How the hell Rodwell not sent off for that 'challenge' beggars belief. Bad day at the office for Spurs and the Wanderers. Good to see Swansea's continued improvement. Hope they stay up. I think the players should take the blame at Leicester. They're just not performing this season and they definitely miss Kante. It's an odd feeling I have in wanting the Wanderers to beat Chelski at the weekend. I feel a little soiled for feeling that way. COYS!
  12. I believe local heroes Fat White Family's Whitest Boy On The Beach plays as the credits role, which is a good thing as they might now be able to afford somewhere permanent to live instead living in squats or crashing on other people's sofas. They could certainly use the money.
  13. Cockwomble. Yep, that works.
  14. Apparently it's nothing like the book (Porno, which is hilarious) and nostalgia is shit anyway. Not bothered. I'll probably watch it when it comes on the telly.
  15. Thanks RD. Tidy profit for the Spammers. That's good business. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/38675958
  16. Anyone remember Dales? For all your quality skinhead/suedehead clobber. Levi Sta press, Ben Sherman and Brutus shirts, half inch braces etc etc.
  17. Yeah, I think we both are.
  18. It's Kevin Keegan, Doc.
  19. Perhaps you missed my post about the Spurs squad and Paul Pogpa. Mauricio Pochettino is bringing in quite a few of the homegrown talent through the ranks and into the first team picture as well picking up bargains. Lloris 10m, Walker 4m, Dier 4m, Vertonghen 10m, Toby 13m, Rose 1m, Dembele 15m, Wanyama 11m, Eriksen 11m, Alli 5m, Kane 0m, Winks 0m, Onomah 0m, Carter Vickers 0m. Total ?84m. Pogba ?89m.
  20. Ahem! Tottenham Hotspur's Deli Alli - Bought from MK Dons for ?5 million.

I find this list quite terrifying (but not unexpected if we'd listened to what he promised)
