  1. If I hadn't changed my mind about the Palace result and Ericksen hadn't scored a third I'd have earned another five points. Still, can't complain. I had a pretty good week.
  2. We can stop them doing the double though, Titch. And maybe, just maybe stuff Arsenal in the final. I'd take that all day long.

Now it's the much hated Chelsea who we're all hoping slip up.
  4. After Spurs enormously impressive win last night, a game that in the past we could so easily have lost. Is there beginning to be a grudging respect for Spurs. This article addresses that and a few other things to. Hope & Expectation: The difference between Liverpool & disrespected Tottenham. https://flipboard.com/@flipboard/flip.it%2F-V1fQT-hope--expectation-the-difference-betwee/f-4a102cff4f%2Fgoal.com
  5. Well, that's cleared that one up.
  6. Thanks Red Devil. A positive shout out to you. High five. ;-)

  8. I would suggest the honourable gentleman looks up the word plural and read its definition.
  9. I'd pretty much have the same order as DTR. M&B is just plain awful, which is another reason why when the newly refurbished C&G re-opens the food offerings will be crap compared to the Half Moon who have a proper and well renowned chef on site. Another own goal for Dulwich Estates.
  10. Mine's working perfectly. Possibly your wiring.
  11. I know, I know. But I think she took a bit of a shine to me. Him on the other hand...
  12. bob Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > There use to be a motor Bike club that met there > can't remember the name for now. > Bob S Yeah, it was a bit of bikers pub back in the 70s. The Old Peculiar MC would often drink in there and the Dog and the Woodhouse.
  13. I think you'll find the beer garden is out the back Louisa. There is however, seating out the front which is a proper sun trap in the summer and a very pleasant place to have a drink and watch the world go by. Hopefully, that will continue.
  14. I wouldn't go that far Otta. I first went there in the 70s and it was a lovely little boozer then right up until Youngs & Co decided to rip the heart and soul out of it a few years ago.
  15. See also Dulwich Wood House and the Clock House.
  16. One thing's for certain it won't be as good as The Half Moon.
  17. I've just seen a pheasant in Camberwell Old Cemetery.
  18. I think we can readily assume it won't be worth the wait.

I will. You can count on it. You can buy me a pint too. You little keyboard warrior you.
  20. Ask Dulwich Estates. They're useless money grabbing fuckwits. Apparently the latest is it is due to open next month but don't hold your breath. From what I heard there was a problem with an old skittle alley in the back garden which they had started to demolish before a preservation order was stuck on it so they had to rebuild it. There's a thread on with more info in The Lounge - http://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/forum/read.php?20,1398574
  21. Yeah, Saul and Lias and two from the Eccentronic Research Council. The album's produced by Sean Lennon and mixed by David Friedman of Flaming Lips and Mercury Rev fame. They're are absolutely amazing live. Saw 'em at Oslo last year.
