Kings Road, Chelsea. Now just like any other high street and full of tourists, although it's been so long since I've been down there I would think even they have gone elsewhere. I think the Chelsea Potter is the only pub left as well. Please tell me that hasn't gone too.

I appreciate that Rolo. Even Thierry Henry has said in the past that Ledley King is the best defender he's faced. He was not just a brilliant centre half, but an inspirational one, a fantastic footballer, captain and role model. A dedicated, loyal one club man. I'm hoping that the club choose to retire the number 26 shirt in his honour.

Ledley was told by his doctor to quit playing four years ago. It's incredible how he managed to keep playing. He has no cartilage in his left knee. The pain he must have gone through to play football is incredible. On his day and when fully fit he was without question one of the best centre-backs I've seen. Majestic, Supreme, of the highest Order, Imposing, Regal, Magnificent, Grand. He really did live up to his name. Long Live the King!

Back in the day when I worked on The Sporting Life I remember getting paid on a Thursday but had pissed it all up the wall by Saturday but I got a tip on a horse at 66-1. It was a dead cert. I'd heard all that before but I borrowed two quid off a colleague who was also backing it and told me to get on it, so I duly put the money down. The horse won. I can't remember the name of the horse or the race as it was such a long time ago (late 70s) but my winnings were equivalent to more than two weeks wages back then. Now as far as I'm concerned that was the greatest race ever.

I was walking along Piccadilly yesterday afternoon and this bloke in front of me seemed to be yapping away to himself before I realised he had some earphones in. I thought he was a bit of a nutjob jabbering away. I soon recognised his gait and as I walked past I quickly realised it was Eddie Izzard!

I went to a casting yesterday and of the 50 or 60 people there they all had to stand up and speak for one minute about themselves and what they wanted to achieve. When it came to my turn I couldn't help myself. I stood up and said: "Hello, my name's Jah and I'm an alcoholic. Errr.... sorry wrong meeting." It got a laugh all round but I don't think it did my prospects of securing any work much good.

So, it's official AVB is the new Spurs coach. I'd like to wish him all the very best and hope that the board, players and fans alike give him more time to work his ideas than he was allowed at Chelsea and hope and pray that he will bring great success to our club but if he starts doing all that squatting on his haunches in his dirty mac on the touchline I'll be the first to shout "sack him."
