  1. Indeed! Look at his record. If he's not sacked he jumps ship. I think he'll be found wanting and in the final analysis will be proved that he's not as good as he thinks he is. Unless things improve drastically he'll be gone by the end of the month one way or another.
  2. What made it so good was that The Wanderers lost at home too. Still, Gervino finally found the net for them but I think Olivier Giroud is another one to look out for. He's an amazingly versatile player, he can miss from anywhere with either foot or even his head.

  5. I caught half of it last week and it was really cringeworthy. Anyway, you'll see for yourself. Arsenal 3 Chelsea 2 Everton 2 Southampton 1 Fulham 1 Man City 2 Norwich 1 Liverpool 2 Reading 0 Newcastle 2 Stoke 2 Swansea 2 Sunderland 2 Wigan 1 Man Utd 2 Tottenham 1 (We never get fuck all at Old Trafford apart from disallowed goals and poor refereering decisions going against us so suspect they'll be no change there). Aston Villa 1 West Brom 2 QPR 1 West Ham 1

    Life Tips

Always have a piss just before you leave the pub. You don't want to get caught short on the way home.
  7. Rio Ferdinand's not getting any younger and can barely string half a dozen games together before he's out injured again. The little niggles are getting harder to shake off as he gets older. Certainly, if he can retain his fitness and play well regularly then he's worth having a look at just for his vast experience alone, he's still better than most when fully fit but there is plenty of young talent out there at centre back and I think England will cope well without having to rely on John Terry who, and let's be fair has served England well over the years and put in some great performances but with younger players like Phil Jagielka, Gary Cahill, Chris Smalling, Phil Jones, Michael Dawson and Steven Caulker ready to make the step up the only problem I see with some of those players is whether they are playing regularly enough for their clubs.
  8. Maybe he wants to spend more time with his team-mates' wives.

  10. I was at White Hart Lane last night. In what was a very entertaining game that was let down by a very poor Romanian referee. Lazio players constantly got away with niggling fouls on Lennon, Bale and Defoe and we had two legitimate goals ruled out. On top of that Lazio fans were clearly heard from where I was sitting giving a few of our black players monkey chants in the second half. I hope UEFA have taken note and do something about it though I suspect they won't. There was also bit of naughtyness down the Tottenham High Road after the game between rival fans. I think it could be a lot worse in Rome.
  11. Exactly Otta. Cracking game though.
  12. Goodbye from East Dulwich.
  13. I agree with PD. Get rid of the handshake at the beginning. It's so contrived. It never used to happen. If you feel like shaking the hand of your opponent at the end of the match then feel free to do so but you shouldn't be forced to do it at the beginning of a game.
  14. Just finished Ford Maddox Ford's tetralogy Parade's End. Much better than the TV series that is currently showing on a Friday night, though I have been enjoying that too.
  15. The modern day footballer usually drives around in a Baby Bentley or some sort of Chelsea Tractor but that looks like a small bubblecar. Can't be paying them to well at Upton Park.
  16. Wouldn't surprise me. We're that shit at the moment.

  18. I'm inclined to agree with you Otta. He's been unlucky with injuries and with the choices Alex Ferguson had up front it was at the best of times tough for him to get any minutes on the pitch. I think he'll get more games at Stoke and if he gets the service he'll score goals, no doubt about it. He could benefit by playing with Crouch up front and feeding off him. Just hope he stays fit.
  19. Kelvin MacKenzie is a loathsome piece of vermin. I hope there will be closure for all those who lost friends and family. Justice for the 96. Don't buy The Sun.
  20. Fucking cunt.
  21. I thought it was a very good England performance. Normally, I find watching England so frustrating but we set our stall out early, passed the ball around well and scored five goals. I know it was only Moldova but games like this have proved to be banana skins in the past. Good performances from the likes of Lampard, Oxlade-Chamberlain and Cleverley but the player who impressed me most was James Milner. I thought he was immense last night. Worked his socks off and got the goal his performance deserved.
  22. Yeah! Cracking game that. His finest moment in a Spurs shirt. Done just about feck-all since and we still can't get him off our books.
  23. Good grief! Floyd snobs.
  24. Not sure about that Otta but at nearly 38 his best days are far behind him. Could have been a good short term deal to help pass on his experience to the younger players but other than that maybe he's just looking for a last good payday before retirement. Class player though when he was in his prime.
  25. Err.... you watch it.
