  1. How much was Nigel Slater paid to endorse that shit?
  2. About three times myself over 30 years and each time I hated myself for it. Fecking disgusting vile rubbery burgers that leave a foul taste in the mouth. I have sworn to myself that I will never visit or eat another one ever.

  4. Highly rated by who? Somalis? It's crap. To get any sort of high you have to chew it all day. Better off getting some speed. Errr...that's about the khat not the phone signal.
  5. Has anyone else noticed Joe Cole's lack of mobility? I think all those injuries have caught up with him. I'd love to see him get back to his best because he's a player I've always enjoyed watching but doesn't look half the player he was. He was non-existent in the "highlights" on MOTD last night. Anyway, still no sign of Levy signing a striker before the deadline. Adebayor away on Africa Cup of Nations duty and looking like he doesn't care in a Spurs shirt now he's signed his contract and our only other recognised striker Defoe carrying a pelvic injury you'd think (hope) he'd pull his bloody finger out. We want the Brazilian Leandro Damiao but will probably end up with nothing... or bloody Peter Crouch again. Bah!

  8. FFS Levy buy us a striker before the transfer deadline is over. We're down to the bare bones.

  10. Fresh chillies much better. One tablespoon sufficient. One T in prat.

It was certainly livelier and had more interesting characters. Most of newcomers I've met over the years are "terminally dull" in comparison but not all of them. I've met a lot of very nice people too. So no compaints. More ups than downs.
  14. You know you've done all right when Fergie starts moaning about referees. I thought we shaded it but at the end I was happy with the point. To take four points from Man Utd during the season is good form. Spurs next few league games are against Norwich, West Brom, Newcastle & West Ham, all potentially winnable and should keep us in the hunt for that top four spot. I still think we need another striker and a creative midfielder for us to bomb on though.
  15. What Quids said.
  16. We scored in Fergie time, we scored in Fergie time.
  17. Why would you have expected it back when it was given as a gift? No wonder she dumped you.
  18. Wahey! Off to White Hart Lane tomorrow. Might not be so happy about it if we lose though. My gut feeling says United will win 3-1 though I've gone for a 2-2 draw in the predictions game. COYS!
  19. Agree, though he could be off to QPR on loan.
  20. Vinyl - I got She Loves You by The Beatles as a Xmas present in '63. First 45s I bought myself were Lola by The Kinks and Love Of The Common People by Nicky Thomas. Album: Sticky Fingers by the Rolling Stones. Cassette - Only really bought them to record stuff. I still have loads as I used to love making compilation tapes for my friends and myself and I'd get given some pre-release stuff that record companies used to send out, most of which were bloody awful. CD: Not sure. May have been something by Grace Jones or Lee "Scratch" Perry. DVD: Haven't a clue. Possibly something musical or pornographic or both. Download: Don't do 'em.
  21. Bollocks! Sandro is out for the rest of the season. That's a fecking big blow to Spurs. He is an absolute beast of a player. He's been brilliant for us. Scott Parker can replace him but sometimes runs out of gas after 75 mins and at 32 isn't getting any younger.
  22. Walcott has definitely improved since coming inside recently, though there are times when he still does his headless chicken act rather well when he shows us that he's just a shit Aaron Lennon. His finishing has got better and he's scoring more. 100 grand a week is what you get these days for being half decent at a club like the Wanderers. If he can develop into the Henry type of role he craves up front then its money well spent and at 23 there is plenty of scope for improvement.
  23. South Norwood has always been a dump and still is. As someone else mentioned have a look at Penge. Looks like it's shaping up, failing that Sydenham or Forest Hill.
  24. That is bloody shocking. Southampton have done well recently and hit a good run of form after a shaky start to the season. A great result at Chelsea in the week, only losing two games in their last twelve. And who the hell is Mauricio Pochettino? His record at Espanyol isn't that great. What the hell were the board thinking? What a way to treat the manager after all the good work he's done for them. I feel very sorry for Nigel Adkins and Southampton's fans. A very poor decision. If their form slumps now and they end up relegated then board have only got themselves to blame.
