  1. True PR. But he used to live in Streatham.
  2. Roger Moore? No, he's from Streatham.
  3. I can't Charlotte. I'm living the dream.
  4. After Wolves at the weekend, I've noticed that five of Spurs' next six league games are against Manchester City, Liverpool, Newcastle, Arsenal and Manchester United. If they are in the same position after that, or even better placed we can really start talking about the title, otherwise we can forget about it.
  5. Has nobody told you punk is dead?
  6. Of course not. Don't be silly Quids. We had a nice little adventure though.
  7. Yes. Those two results easier said than done. Certainly long overdue that we won at Old Trafford. Always seem to have a problem with referees up there.
  8. I think it was the relegation that did for him.
  9. red devil Wrote: --------------------------- > mugshots of James Corden, Russell Brand, Phil > Jupitus and wait for it...Shane Ritchie. What a nightmare scenario. Sharing hospitality with that little lot would surely put anyone off.
  10. You'll have to get used to that BR. Lots of teams are now coming to Spurs and parking the bus. Fair play to Everton last night though, they at least had a go but never really troubled us and we could have won by a few more. I reckon you're getting the jitters. :))
  11. I agree it's unknown territory for us. If and I say if we beat City and maybe go top of the league at some point that is when the real pressure starts but we're not there yet. We still have to beat Wolves at home at the weekend and that won't be an easy game. At the moment I'm really enjoying watching my team play some fantastic football and winning games. Also, Man Utd are usually even better in the second half of the season. They have a few problems at the moment - same as us - but I'm sure they'll be there challenging for the title until the last kick of the season. They have the benefit of experience in doing it many times before. I just hope Spurs can keep up the good work they have started. Got to add this quote from the late great Bill Nicholson. ?It is better to fail aiming high than to succeed aiming low. And we of Spurs have set our sights very high... so high, in fact, that even failure will have in it an echo of glory!? - Bill Nicholson OBE.
  12. Robbie Keane signs on loan to Aston Villa That must be a first - Robbie Keane does an interview on joining Villa and omitted to mention that it was his boyhood favourite club and has always had a lifelong ambition to play for them! Must be having a senior moment.
  13. I knew what you meant Mac. Something will happen to fcuk things up. Harry could end up in jail for starters. Spurs will drop points at some stage and so will City and Utd. The form guide for the last 18 games does make nice reading though...Spurs 45 points, City 42 points, Man Utd 39 points. Not sure what Arsenal's stats are for the same period but I reckon they'd be pretty impressive too as they've had a good run since losing to Spurs.
  14. Being a typical Spurs fan Mac I always think we're going to fcuk it up even when we're two-nil up and cruising with five minutes to go. A cracker of a goal from Beniot Assou-Ekoto tonight.
  15. COYS! That'll do nicely. So far so good.
  16. Hmmm... I'd only lend my name to it if they offered me a lifetime of free drinks for my continued patronage. It would always be happy hour Mr Ben. :))
  17. If he gets the financial backing (which Colin didn't get once they were promoted) I think he'll do really well. But knowing Hughes he'll probably use it as a springboard to manage a bigger club. One thing is for sure if Adel Taarabt doesn't pull his socks up and start working really bloody hard in training and on the pitch for the team he'll soon be out the door.
  18. Milk Shake?
  19. I've gone mad for Christopher Brookmeyer. Love his work. Zipped through Boiling A Frog recently and now on Country Of The Blind. As the blurb says: "High octane political thriller doused in stinging satire." Great stuff.
  20. Mark Hughes gets the QPR job.
  21. One for the Gooners. Terry Henry v Leeds Utd - The Commorative DVD
  22. karter Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Lots of negative talk there. Plenty of punters > around the area to make that location work. Long > as it's competitive with a great service then it > will be a destination to go to. Innit. Funny, never seen you in there.
  23. Kompany gets four match ban. Harsh but glad he's out of game against Spurs.
  24. Sorry, couldn't help myself. We've lived a long time in Woolwich Wanderers shadow. Still, we've won nothing yet. It's a long season.
  25. One-nil to the Arsenal. Terry Henry getting the winner. Just like old times eh. I'm off to White Hart Lane tomorrow night for our game in hand match against Everton. If we win we'll go joint second, eight points clear of Chelsea and nine points clear of Arsenal. Welcome to the present.
