Two very big players for us which also shows the need to buy big in the summer because their replacements just weren't good enough. On a more positive note it has still been a very good season for us, we're in the Champions League, we have a great squad of young players who will be all the better for this experience next season. Harry Kane won the Golden Boot with 25 league goals, Alli won Young Player of the Year and Goal of the Season on MOTD and we have five players going to the Euros which is a testament to the management of Mauricio Pochettino. With a few additions to the squad I think we can make a challenge for the title next season.

Your nipper playing up again, *Bob*? I think you showed remarkable restraint Heartblock. Personally, I'd probably have started with a raised eyebrow at the mother,followed by a Vulcan-like death glare at the child and then back to the parent again. If it went further I'd have ordered some bread rolls and hurled them in their general direction to see how they liked it. I love kids, I think they're great but if they can't behave themselves at the dinner table they need to be reminded of their manners, especially when out in public. And if the parents cannot reasonably get their children to behave themselves then they aren't doing a very good job of parenting. Having said that it is possible the child may have ADHD or some other behavioural disorder and if that were to be the case then the parent has my sympathy. But the fact is this mother openly encouraged her child to play with the food and not consume it as you're supposed to. That is unacceptable and it really would have got on my man boobs.

Danny Welbeck out for nine months following knee surgery. That's tough for the lad after being out for seven months, coming back, playing well, showing some good form and no doubt he was a shoe-in for the Euros. That's really rotten luck.
