  1. Interesting take of the West Ham v Man Utd fracas last week. http://www.dreamdeferred.org.uk/2016/05/west-ham-hooligans-or-police-liars/

Only Tottenham could have blown it the way they did and let Arsenal in ahead of them on the very last day of the season. I think we also missed Dele Alli and Mousa Dembele once they got their bans. Two very big players for us which also shows the need to buy big in the summer because their replacements just weren't good enough. On a more positive note it has still been a very good season for us, we're in the Champions League, we have a great squad of young players who will be all the better for this experience next season. Harry Kane won the Golden Boot with 25 league goals, Alli won Young Player of the Year and Goal of the Season on MOTD and we have five players going to the Euros which is a testament to the management of Mauricio Pochettino. With a few additions to the squad I think we can make a challenge for the title next season.
  3. Congratulations Parkdrive. You win again.
  4. Bloody Tottenham Hotspur! I bloody knew it. I knew it would happen. The bastards always finish above us. Happy St. Totteringham Day to the Wanderers. You utter utter utter utter fecking jammy bastards!
  5. Arf arf!
  6. Friday The 13th - The Horrors.
  7. It's full of thieves, vagabonds and a very persistent and elusive highwayman down there.
  8. I believe it was performance related and they weren't happy with his record since January, two wins in their last eleven matches. He did the job that he was paid to do, i.e keep them up. Not an easy job at a club like Watford with a relatively tight budget and a small squad of players.
  9. "On Friday night she's all decked out Her high heel shoes, and dress so tight Dance, dance little sister, dance."
  10. Proof positive that the board of directors at Watford know sod all about football. Quique Sanchez Flores to leave at the end of the season. Here's a prediction for next season. Watford to be relegated. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/36284162
  11. Nevertheless what a tragic pile of shit that is. Which reminds me - What's got 100 legs and no hair? The front row of a Stone Roses gig.
  12. Oh dear. A classic case of foot in mouth. http://i1369.photobucket.com/albums/ag237/jahlushhead/13221604_10153573629201156_6942442665405256690_n_zpsudsvavpa.jpg
  13. Probably not the best but I'd recommend Wahaca in Soho. https://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Restaurant_Review-g186338-d731547-Reviews-Wahaca_Soho-London_England.html
  14. Your nipper playing up again, *Bob*? I think you showed remarkable restraint Heartblock. Personally, I'd probably have started with a raised eyebrow at the mother, followed by a Vulcan-like death glare at the child and then back to the parent again. If it went further I'd have ordered some bread rolls and hurled them in their general direction to see how they liked it. I love kids, I think they're great but if they can't behave themselves at the dinner table they need to be reminded of their manners, especially when out in public. And if the parents cannot reasonably get their children to behave themselves then they aren't doing a very good job of parenting. Having said that it is possible the child may have ADHD or some other behavioural disorder and if that were to be the case then the parent has my sympathy. But the fact is this mother openly encouraged her child to play with the food and not consume it as you're supposed to. That is unacceptable and it really would have got on my man boobs.
  15. Danny Welbeck out for nine months following knee surgery. That's tough for the lad after being out for seven months, coming back, playing well, showing some good form and no doubt he was a shoe-in for the Euros. That's really rotten luck.

I'm glad they didn't go for the easier option of re-employing Brendan Rogers. Would have been a bit like going out with one of your ex's only to find out she's turned into a bit of slapper.
  17. And me.

It still rankles. A terrible omission for a world cup winning captain, a gentleman and West Ham's greatest ever player, an England all-time great. Our country's greatest captain. It bloody pisses me off. The FA should have looked after him better.
  22. I concur.
  23. Oops! Hammers hit the beach early. ;-)
