  1. Spurs haven't beaten Man Utd at White Hart Lane since 2001. Time that stat changed. COYS!
  2. Maxxi's always been an Iron. No cockney rhyming slang intended.
  3. As Long As You Tell Him was the B-side of the last Faces single - You Can Make Me Dance, Sing or Anything (Even Take the Dog for a Walk, Mend a Fuse, Fold Away the Ironing Board, or Any Other Domestic Shortcomings) and shows what can be done with a simple lyric, some great singing and some superb sympathic musical accompaniment. Nice pedal steel solo Ron, lovely Hammond B3, Mac.
  4. I'm rather fond of it myself. Not sure you can call it a B-side though as it was part of the Magical Mystery Tour double EP.
  5. Flipside of I Hear You Knocking is a terrific instrumental boogie shuffle.
  6. Ah, yes Play With Fire is a favourite of mine to.
  7. Not only that but also the B-side of Hit Me With Your Rhythm Stick was another witty toe-tapper.
  8. Ian Dury's witty tale of teenage thieving of 'nudie books'. The B-side of Sex & Drugs & Rock n'Roll.
  9. Spurs also have to play Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, a ground where we haven't won in the league since 1990. I think, judging by Mauricio Pochettino's reaction in punching the turf at the end of the match at Anfield on Saturday, he knew the game was up. I still think Leicester will falter a little but not enough to lose any hope of winning the title. I also think that Arsenal could overtake us if we don't win all our games, or at least four out of the five we have left to play. We just have to keep on going and hope for the best.
  10. Thanks Penguin68. That makes things crystal clear.
  11. Louisa will be overjoyed. Anyway, is it closing or is it staying open?
  12. Yeah, your right Jeremy but why does everything have to be a bleeding anthem these days. I blame Oasis. The Gallaghers seemed to think everything they wrote was an anthem, so anything by them. Take your pick. Anyway, here's one not by them -
  13. Later covered by The Rezillos. B-side of Man Of The World. Someone's Gonna Get Their Head Kicked In Tonight.
  14. One of those country style ballads they used to do so well slipped out on the B-side of It's Only Rock n'Roll.
  15. For older listeners - Tasty B-sides of 7" singles. I'll kick things off with this B-side of God Save The Queen by the Sex Pistols - I Did You No Wrong.
  16. I shouldn't be disappointed but I am slightly. Not many teams go to Anfield and come away with a point. So it's a very good result for Spurs. If Leicester lose tomorrow, it's still a point gained.
  17. Ha! This thread reminds me of this song about neighbours.
  18. Bah! Anyway, we have an appalling record at Anfield. I'd be very happy if you won every single game for the rest of this season but just not tomorrow. COYS!
  19. Couldn't give a shit who you put out just as long as Spurs win and hopefully Leicester lose the day after. Shall we watch it down the pub together? Assuming you can get away that is.
  20. I didn't show his stats with the Swiss national side, because he won nothing with them, though as you say, he did a 'good job' with them. What I was pointing out to you was stuff that he'd won after you'd clearly stated he hadn't won anything and of course, he's won plenty. Anyway, back to the meat and potatoes - can Spurs win at Liverpool? Can Southampton do us a favour and win at Leicester? Can Crystal Palace get anything at Upton Park and can Watford put the Gooners noses out of joint at the Effeminates?

I hope not. Hodgson started his managerial career in 1976 at Allsvenskan side Halmstads BK, having been recommended by then-Malm? FF manager Bob Houghton. Hodgson spent five years at Halmstad, winning the league championship in 1976 and 1979. His success with Halmstad in 1976 is considered one of the biggest surprises of all time in Swedish football.[9] The year before, Halmstad had struggled against relegation, surviving only on goal difference and before the 1976 campaign began they were almost universally tipped for relegation. Hodgson himself says that "my greatest achievement would have to be the water-into-wine job at Halmstads BK."

  23. One N in Denis Law and Bergkamp. And he was named after the Law man.
  24. That's true and he should have signed for Spurs.
