  1. Later covered by The Rezillos. B-side of Man Of The World. Someone's Gonna Get Their Head Kicked In Tonight.
  2. One of those country style ballads they used to do so well slipped out on the B-side of It's Only Rock n'Roll.
  3. For older listeners - Tasty B-sides of 7" singles. I'll kick things off with this B-side of God Save The Queen by the Sex Pistols - I Did You No Wrong.
  4. I shouldn't be disappointed but I am slightly. Not many teams go to Anfield and come away with a point. So it's a very good result for Spurs. If Leicester lose tomorrow, it's still a point gained.
  5. Ha! This thread reminds me of this song about neighbours.
  6. Bah! Anyway, we have an appalling record at Anfield. I'd be very happy if you won every single game for the rest of this season but just not tomorrow. COYS!
  7. Couldn't give a shit who you put out just as long as Spurs win and hopefully Leicester lose the day after. Shall we watch it down the pub together? Assuming you can get away that is.
  8. I didn't show his stats with the Swiss national side, because he won nothing with them, though as you say, he did a 'good job' with them. What I was pointing out to you was stuff that he'd won after you'd clearly stated he hadn't won anything and of course, he's won plenty. Anyway, back to the meat and potatoes - can Spurs win at Liverpool? Can Southampton do us a favour and win at Leicester? Can Crystal Palace get anything at Upton Park and can Watford put the Gooners noses out of joint at the Effeminates?

I hope not. Hodgson started his managerial career in 1976 at Allsvenskan side Halmstads BK, having been recommended by then-Malm? FF manager Bob Houghton. Hodgson spent five years at Halmstad, winning the league championship in 1976 and 1979. His success with Halmstad in 1976 is considered one of the biggest surprises of all time in Swedish football.[9] The year before, Halmstad had struggled against relegation, surviving only on goal difference and before the 1976 campaign began they were almost universally tipped for relegation. Hodgson himself says that "my greatest achievement would have to be the water-into-wine job at Halmstads BK."

  11. One N in Denis Law and Bergkamp. And he was named after the Law man.
  12. That's true and he should have signed for Spurs.
  13. Obviously a man with exquisite taste. "I had a favourite club in England which was Tottenham Hotspur." - Johan Cruyff. http://i1369.photobucket.com/albums/ag237/jahlushhead/Johan%20amp%20Glenn_zpsvmk0d042.png

  15. I'm saddened by the death of Johan Cruyff. A true footballing legend. A remarkably gifted player. As I mentioned in my Chapel of Rest post I saw him get nutmegged four times by Glenn Hoddle in the first half of a UEFA Cup tie at White Hart Lane. This was when Cruyff was 36 and Hoddle was in his pomp. Spurs absolutely destroyed Feyenoord in that first half at White Hart Lane going four-nil up with Hoddle supplying the killer passes for all four goals. Cruyff got one back in the second half with terrific goal himself. I went to both games home and away and just looked it up on You Tube and there they are so I thought I'd share this little trip down memory lane. Spurs had a terrific team back then. Though the link doesn't show the nutmegs it's a reminder of how good that team was particularly Hoddle. Enjoy the footage.

    .

    You have a point.
  17. Losing three nil at Tooting & Mitcham (aka The Scum) in the cup midweek is another dreadful low. We're looking toothless up front and lacking in imagination in midfield. WTF is going on?
  18. Ronald McDonald would be better.
  19. Excellent. Best of luck.
  20. You might get one in A J Farmer. Certainly worth a punt.
  21. Be interesting to see how you feel when you play Leicester next month.
  22. I have to agree Corbyn's be crap at the despatch box. I think Hilary Benn looks the part myself. Whether he'd be any good is another matter entirely but I think he'd make a much better fist of leadership than Jezza, who I've been a little disappointed in.
  23. Can only think of the Territorial Army Barracks at High Wood at the beginning of Lordship Lane. I'd say that perhaps security has been stepped up after the events in Brussels today.
  24. Otta, it's a nonsense that other people hadn't heard of Dele Alli as there were quite a few clubs monitoring his progress, including Man Utd and Liverpool but Spurs took the chance and wasted no time in snapping him up. Our gain, your loss. Ha ha ha ha.
  25. I agree. It was a dull match and we were lucky to scrape a draw near the end.
