  1. I think I'd settle for the latter Brendan. In fact, I know I would.
  2. One of my all-time favourite reggae tunes. I still have the original 12inch single. Doctor Alimantado - Born For A Purpose/Reason For Living
  3. Close but no cigar. They are called Korn and yes that are a crap American metal band.
  4. BRI (which was the Brixton exchange) became 274 and TOW (Townley) became 693. Both good Dulwich numbers by the way. God I'm getting old. Back to petty annoyances though - people constantly rabbiting on the phone and not just on public transport which really does my head in. For instance, I have a girl in the office who is constantly talking fatuous boring crap all day long to her friends and family and I really don't want to hear it thank you very much.

Everton 1 v 2 Liverpool Aston Villa 2 v 1 Sunderland Fulham 2 v 1 West Ham Man Utd 4 v 0 Bolton Middlesbrough 2 v 0 West Brom Newcastle 1 v 2 Blackburn Stoke City 0 v 2 Chelsea Arsenal 3 v 0 Hull City Portsmouth 2 v 2 Tottenham Wigan 1 v 2 Man City
  7. Pennyroyal Tea - Nirvana
  8. You may think as a Spurs fan I could be licking my lips at the prospect of playing away to Portsmouth on Sunday who have shipped ten goals in two games. I'm not. I'm fearing a backlash, especially with the amount of ex-Spurs players in their ranks who may feel they have something to prove. Just because we've won a couple games recently (but not in the league yet) doesn't mean we're anywhere near out of the shit yet. We have a very long way to go but I'm hoping the win against Newcastle last night will have given us the confidence to improve our form in the Premiership and start moving up the table.
  9. Silly Games - Janet Kay
  10. This Is Not A Love Song - Public Image Ltd
  11. Prince Charming - Adam And The Ants
  12. As someone who can remember when the word "queer" was used when someone was feeling a little unwell and not as a derogatory term for a homosexual I have to say I am in complete agreement with you on your feelings on the misuse of the word "gay" to mean something is a bit rubbish or "shit" as you put it. I also think you'll find that the majority of people who have posted on this thread are also in complete agreement with you.
  13. Just fancied hearing this again for some reason. The Ting Tings - That's Not My Name
  14. That's Not My Name - The Ting Tings
  15. I've seen that so many times and it still makes me laugh.
  16. Nothing Can Stop Us - Saint Etienne
  17. Well done to your daughter Lawyerlady and well done to the people involved in the renovation. I went past it yesterday and it's looking very spick and span.
  18. Tune! Saint Etienne - Heart Failed In The Back Of A Taxi
  19. Around And Around - Chuck Berry
  20. Do You Feel My Love - Eddy Grant
  21. People do tend to ignore the fact that Carlos Tevez played in eight straight defeats and is only remembered in this dispute because he scored the winner at Man Utd on the last day of the season that enabled West Ham to stay up.
  22. You can't escape Sean *Bob*, he's omnipresent. Good description of the new Mag by the way.
  23. Yes indeed Brendan. I couldn't agree more. What an appalling concept. Also, do you want us to turn into China and have the amount of children we're allowed capped? And, I don't mean kneecapped. Although in some cases that may be a good thing. Better than an ASBO I suppose. Edited for immaculate conception.
  24. No! The C & G is the Chelteneham & Gloucester building society. Good see that Brendan know his local history though. Go and spend some money is the Dream Machine before we get lounged.
