  1. Monkberry Moon Delight, Smile Away, Mine For Me, My Love.
  2. Man Of Constant Sorrow - Rod Stewart
  3. His second solo album Ram is a bit of a corker and the title track Ram On is a personal favourite of mine.
  4. Waiting For The Man - Velvet Underground
  5. Thanks Brenda. I'm not really feeling myself today. I'm letting someone else do that for me...hmm that's nice. A bit lower darling. Great shop, nice people. Spend some money in there.
  6. Oh for God's sake!!! Just go in and find out for yourself. You'll be pleasantly surprised.

    a joke

A Freudian, a Jungian, and a Lacanian walk into a bar. The Freudian orders a cigar. The Jungian orders an Etruscan mask to conceal his face. "You cretins!" says the Lacanian. He then orders a beer, which, however, he does not desire.
  8. You Gotta Move - Rolling Stones
  9. Girl Of My Best Friend - Elvis Presley
  10. I'm pretty much a regular at both pubs. The Plough and the Crown & Greyhound (The Dog). Both, incidentally owned by the same pub chain. The food isn't good at either of them unless it's a small snack you're looking for and even then that can leave a lot to be desired. Ostensibly, I go to the pub to drink and not to eat. If you want a decent meal go to a restaurant is my advice. The service at the Dog can be shockingly bad at times whilst at the Plough all the staff I've come across since the revamp last year have been very friendly and helpful and I think its a little unfair to criticise them when they've obviously got their hands tied behind their backs when it comes to the food which is dictated by M & B HQ as Sean has previously mentioned.
  11. Good one. RIP The Oglander.
  12. Cocaine Blues - Johnny Cash
  13. Hey Baby - J J Cale
  14. Quite right too! Serves as a good excuse to put the Ramones on. I saw them once. 25 songs in under an hour. All played at breakneck speed. Fecking brilliant The Ramones - Blitzkrieg Bop
  15. I seem to remember you could do that on certain stretches of road. Backstreets mainly. Best thing about the P13 though is that it stops directly outside the CPT.
  16. Played a mix of this at home last night. Turn it up LOUD!!! Fatboy Slim - Michael Jackson
  17. Stupid Girl - The Rolling Stones
  18. It used to go to Surrey Quays. And it is a bit of bastard to wait for sometimes. I use it as randomly as its timetable seems to be as it gets me from one end of Underhill Road to the other or all the way down to Lordship Lane as the case may be.
  19. Another possible connection. During World War ll, Tappen House on Dulwich Common (formerly Glenlea) was leased by its owner to the Dutch Government. It was used as a base for the Dutch Secret Service for agents who were trained as radio operators before being parachuted into German-occupied Holland to work with the Resistance.
  20. Stupid Cupid - Connie Francis.
  21. I finally got to eat at Omrith on Forest Hill Road on Saturday night. I have to say it knocks the spots off of any of the curry houses on Lordship Lane. Fantastic! Can't wait to go back for more.
  22. CPT to watch Spurs on Monday night. I don't think I've ever been so despressed about a performance. God we were shit. No balance. No nothing. Just awful and very painful to watch. Bring back Martin Jol...NOW! I'm going to crawl back into my hole of depression now. Well...at least until tomorrow night and the UEFA Cup where we had better be a whole lot better. Slinks off to the sanctuary of the pub.
  23. I'm rather fond of this band. They have a Singles Collection out next week and this is on it. Good stuff. Don't Think You're The First - The Coral
  24. It's All Over Now - The Rolling Stones
