  1. He's definitely better up front.
  2. That goal!
  3. Fck me! Eric Lamela! 30 million quid. No right foot. Extraordinary goal.
  4. I only remember them being filled with cigarette butts when the rest of the booze had gone.
  5. You're too young to remember the devil's after jism piss of a Watneys Red Barrel Party Seven. Now that was the worst beer ever. Seven fooking pints of it.
  6. Most bars these days let you try before you buy. Quick way of sorting out the wheat from the chaff.

  11. Good one PD.
  12. That's a bit harsh Mr Ben.
  13. I'm not keen on them.

True, but the My Life In The Bush Of Ghosts album was an early one from '81 and was quite pioneering and influential in the case of sampling, found sounds and electronics etc etc, blah blah blah. Bowie & Iggy Pop have worked together a lot - Low, The Idiot, Lust For Life and on Blah Blah Blah. Here's a live one with Bowie on keys and cigarettes.
  15. I was lucky enough to go to one of the five nights Jeff Beck played at Ronnie Scott's. This is just one of highlights of one of those nights.
  16. Absolutely, I'm sick of seeing it. Book the players who do it or send them off. Only then may we see a change.
  17. Should have been a number one.

No wonder they didn't want to let him go. It has to be said though that Sunderland were beyond woeful. Spurs on the other hand I thought were a little unlucky yesterday. We had good movement going forward, didn't take our chances early doors and had a couple of decisions go against us. The referee made some poor decisions. No way was the first penalty where Lampard takes a tumble a penalty. Soldado, who, though missed a penalty yesterday, I thought worked hard and played well. He's just not getting the rub of the green. Lamela and Kaboul had poor games. City have a world class striker in Ag?ero and he was the difference between the two teams yesterday. He's top class. Something we're sadly lacking up front at the moment.
  19. Indeed.
  20. Don't you just despise the Mail? Apart from the story itself which is obviously ooh, shock horror, a commie at our posh school type shit which doesn't help her in keeping her well paid job but also you get "?36,000 a year Dulwich College," says in the headline but by the time it gets to the picture caption it's gone up to ?39,000 a year. Suck on that.
