But if people have the opportunity to and don't then it seems a bit churlish to moan about any decisions after the event -

Ha! fairplay

Olly Murs seems like a likeable young chap. But, have a listen to a couple of tracks on those albums. So much of the very best music is made by people that don't care a jot for commercial success and therefore don't trouble the playlists of commercial radio or radio 1. Oliver's (Cherer, not Murs) work is a joy.
-
A couple of albums by the criminally underrated Oliver Cherer (aka Dollboy). Beard of Bees is understated, sun-soaked folk. Sir Oliffe Leigh & Other Ghosts is beautiful English pastoral folk with a drop of Robert Wyatt-ness thrown in. Both are utterly gorgeous.

There's been a big push for more free range chickens/egg production over the past decade. I'm sure if you compared 46% free-range eggs to 10/15 years ago the difference would be huge. Regarding chicken meat- free-range is hugely expensive compared to battery farmed and i expect this is what put's most people off.

Walker, though I like him, still has an > awful lot to learn with his positioning > defensively. definitely re- Walker. Pre-injury he had improved but still a way off being top-class. Our (Spurs) right hand side is a problem, as Townsend is not a very good player, despite the odd good goal for England.
-
Also worth noting that Ryan Mason now has as many assists for England as Jack Wilshere. ;-)
-
i thought Walker was an improvement on Clyne- who was awful. My player ratings from last night: Jones, Clyne, Delph, Gibbs, Smalling- shocking Henderson, Hart, Mason, Walcott, Walker - OK Carrick, Barkley, Rooney, Jagielka, Kane, Townsend- decent I think Barkley is a tremendous prospect- but he needs to train on. Hope he can do so at Everton.

I just think because he's on such an unusual trajectory this season that everyone needs to calm down a little and nurse him into the team rather than throw him in, regardless of oppo. Not sure three strikers would've been right (Sterling and Kane very different). It just seems as though the country is so desperate for a superstar/saviour (an English Bale or somesuch) that if he's started and not performed against weak oppo the papers would've very quick to give it the old 'flash in the pan' headlines or blamed Hodgson for throwing him in too early. By holding him back it was a no lose all round- if we were losing/struggling and he came on and did poorly it wouldn't have been his fault but if he'd turned it round he'd have been a saviour. If he came on when we were winning and did nothing it wouldn't matter. Or, final scenario he comes on when we're comfortable and performs it does his confidence even more good with less pressure. I'm probably overanalysing- but as it happens it seems to have been the right decision by Hodgson, either by luck or design

Most strikers miss a couple for a every goal they score. If it was a friendly I would've started him. Not when there's more pressure.
-
Agree completely with Jah Lush and Red Devil. Softly softly approach. He doesn't need anymore pressure heaped on him and Rooney & Welbeck are both bang in form for England.

Are you from Bromsgrove? It was a really good game, Bromsgrove were excellent. Some of the tackling was brutal and some of the back play was breathtaking.

It's finals day in the Nat West School's Rugby Cup at Twickenham. Dulwich College entered the competition for the first time 4 seasons ago and have never been beaten. They've won the competition on the three occasions they've entered it and are now in the final (against Bromsgrove) for the fourth year running. It's an extraordinary achievement and is never likely to be bettered in it's modern format. The game kicks off at 3.40pm and is live (HD) on the link below. It's well worth a watch- the standard of Rugby is very high.

Central London location for conference call

Timberyard Coffee, upper St martins lane, Covent Garden. They have spaces designed for work downstairs. It won't be private, but I don't think you'll look out of place. Coffee's exceptional too -

Lively dogs and little kids - Peckham Rye Park
titch juicy replied to Coco22's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Surely it's just absolutely the most basic common sense that dogs should be kept on leads if they can't be controlled? This thread has focused almost exclusively on kids being scared of dogs, but what about those adults that are? Personally I love dogs and will approach any that pass me by (to my detriment in the past after being bitten), but lots of people don't like them (my mum for example) and some are terrified by them. Dog owners absolutely have a responsibility to ensure that they abide by relevant laws and keep their dogs under control. Peckham Rye park is particularly bad for this. I've seen dogs off the lead being allowed to walk free in the cafe while the owner looks on laughing as if it's such a cute quirky thing for their beloved to do. Funnily enough this also goes for parents and their kids who are allowed to run around free in the cafe creating havoc, "Oh, they're so cute and independent", "no they're not, they're feral" At the end of the day it's about common sense and respect. -
Can someone give me some ideas please.
