  2. Huguenot- the restaurants aren't obliged to take foie gras off the menu, if someone asks them to. Surely they would do what they thought was best for the business. If they did decide to take it off the menu, for moral or business reasons- you have the freedom of choice to eat elsewhere. It's not Tom Micklewright's choice to remove it from the menu, it's the restaurants.

  7. I switched from an old ndroid to the iphone 4 after days of reading reviews of all the new androids, and after playing for an evening with a friends htc desire s. It's the best move for sure- the iphone really is a lovely bit of kit. The apps are great, it's soooooo easy to use (for text and email- dunno why people think it's tricky for email, my gmail on there couldn't be more user friendly). I can't think of a single thing that has peed me off with the iphone yet- i've not even noticed it has no flash player.
  8. from the tv coverage and friends that went- it seems widely acknowledged that the performance of the weekend was from this young lady......her performance at the roundhouse was one of the best live performances i've seen in ages, but this looks on another level she deserves MUCH more love http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b0129fhd/Glastonbury_2011_Janelle_Monae_and_The_Chemical_Brothers/

  19. i agree pam, i think tarafitness has been unlucky...i use it because they don't overghee (good word by the way) their dishes. i have to say I have only eaten in once (usually get delivery), and that was a couple of weeks ago and the staff were excellent- attentive and friendly.
  20. Tried most, but been using surma for deliveries for about a year and a half and never been disappointed. The chicken jalfrezi is particularly good. I've also enjoyed a couple of their specialities- the dilruba and the taba.
  21. after winning last nights player's player of the year award- Gareth Bale said, "....I am happy at Tottenham. I only recently signed a contract extension. Does that suggest I?m looking to leave the club? ?The thought has never crossed my mind, not at this stage of my career. I owe a great deal to the club and I firmly believe in loyalty.? If only more young footballers showed this kind of maturity and love for the game rather than love of money- it might not be such an abhorrent game sometimes.
