  1. Please don't. They have a difficult enough job already managing behaviour there without you adding abuse to it.
  2. Know what you mean about the 'love you' thing. I've even had the occasional work voicemail end like that when the person's clearly not thinking and speaking automatically.
  3. A few days ago, lying on the ground in Dulwich Park doing me abs (bet that surprises anyone who's read the dodgy food combo thread), you could see that the entire park was covered with a fine layer of cobweb. Pretty, until I realised now also stuck to my clothes and hair...

  5. Salsaboy Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Out of all the people who have posted on this > topic, RPC seems to be the most prolific in eating > habits. Most prolific in posting about it, anyway, but quite a few others here seem more extreme. Don't think any of mine would raise much comment if someone else happened to walk in.
  6. It may be that the library is having a clamp-down on behaviour that other users find annoying as there's often that kind of thing from the school age kids, which then gets out of hand and someone ends up complaining. Hard to keep everyone happy.

At home we used to make a bowl of icing (butter, icing sugar and maybe cocoa powder) and eat that. Frankly the idea makes me heave now.

Was that at the horse trials? I go most years and spend more time in the food village than watching the horses go round, I'm slightly ashamed to say. Apparently some people eat suasages with marmalade. Never tried it but sounds viable.

It's the > ketchup innit :)) Exactly, though you can also lay the hoops flat side down as that ups the crunch factor to an almost masochistic level.
  12. The best bit of a pork pie: the jelly. If no one's looking it may have to be eaten as a separate mouthful.
  13. > But hot cross bun with salami is certainly a curve > ball. It's the perfect sweet and savoury combo.
  14. Caramelised almonds and black grapes, one of each in the mouth at a time. The only reason this doesn't include a piece of chocolate is fear of being unable to stop.
  15. Not really rage but finding it hard to keep up with a plague of tiny, tiny spiders and their attempts at webs.
  16. Nearly as good as hula hoop and ketchup on white. Nothing finer to round off an evening out.
  17. Depending on what's available on the day it can be satisfying to combine things in a way you might not if someone civilised was present. Toasted hot cross bun and salami, for example, or ice cream with granola, or small boiled potatoes dipped in proper mayonnaise.
  18. If no one knows the answer, perhaps you could send it in to Robert Elms's Radio London show on Wed for the notes and queries bit?
  19. Yet...
  20. With Bonfire Night coming up maybe a local organisation could use them. You could advertise them in the For Sale section.
  21. Underwear shop on LL.
  22. Has it got a wire you can pull out, given you're replacing it anyway?
  23. My grandfather used to use his finger to wipe up the last of the gravy even if anyone else was present. Sometimes I eat cereal or ice cream direct from the container to avoid making washing up. I also use the same teabag and cup about four times.
  24. Given the recent death of a dog that apparently ate something poisonous in the park, owners may want to avoid the risk of a dog trying to eat a heart, which might have been treated in some way.
  25. That just needed cake to be completely perfect.
