  6. bigbadwolf Wrote: It's nothing personal Tony but you do insist on initiating threads that tend to grag on and cause a lot of resentment. The usual protagionists are more than capable on taking any criticism on the chin and not being too precious about it, one trusts... Just a healthy debate...lets hope this one doesn't grag on bbw... btw: Is "grag on" like "jog on"??...:)
  7. The former Tory party leader smiled broadly and waved enthusiastically with her right arm to a sizeable crowd who had gathered outside her Belgravia house. Baroness Thatcher, 83, whose left arm is in a sling after she fractured her upper shoulder after a heavy fall, underwent surgery at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital after the injury failed to heal. Baroness Thatcher was treated at hospital for broken arm after a fall. Even though the operation, involving the insertion of a surgical pin, was a success, doctors insisted on keeping Lady Thatcher in hospital for observation. Re-assurringly among the regular visitors was her son, Sir Mark.... p.s..The above report has been slightly amended to make it more believable... p.p.s. How deserving for her lifelong commitment to our great Nation that she is the first Prime Minister since Sir Winston Churchill to be granted a State Funeral. Lets hope its later rather than sooner Guys.... Please join me in conveying your good wishes to Mrs/Lady/Baroness T...:)-D
  8. BBW you do the aforementioned the utmost disservice there will be little ranting on this thread. Trust me, I'm a Bookie....B) p.s. Can't guarantee the same for The Lady Thatcher thread that I'm about to initiate.....wacko..:))
  9. Solicitors acting on behalf of protesters caught up in clashes at the G20 demonstrations will launch a legal challenge tomorrow. Experts will bring a judicial review of police tactics such as "kettling" to contain people and the excessive use of force. Activists who staged the Bishopsgate climate camp want an explanation of how the Metropolitan Police handled the controversial City of London events in April. They have also demanded that senior officers provide a legal basis for the practice of containing protesters in one place for extended periods of time. So is kettling a legitimate police tactic?

  17. MM: This may be useful : The best course of action is to remove the attraction in the first place which is likely to be food and or shelter. Taking Action Refuse bags which have simply been tied up and left outside in your garden are an open invitation to a fox to tear them up and rummage through them. They can scent food from a great distance. You should dispose of all your food waste in a domestic wheelie bin with the lid firmly closed and remove possible sources of other food such as compost heap scraps. If you have dogs or cats, don?t feed them outside and make sure that any food you leave out for the birds is only accessible to the birds and no other creatures. If you suspect shelter is more the reason for their presence you might need to resort to using some kind of approved animal repellent to remove the attraction and, in a worse case scenario, you may even have to resort to using thick wire mesh securely fixed to make a protective shield around the perimeter of your garden.
  18. Anyway this Beautiful Woman has caused quite a reaction. Any more sightings of this lovely Lady?
