  1. Its actually on BBC1. The hour long game will start(I'm guessing) at 1.00AM and finish around 7.30AM after sufficient time is taken while its "over to your local sponsor" and the game stops every 2 seconds followed by 35 seconds of deep "analysis"...B) Should be fun. Can't personally wait......
  2. What Uncle Max said. Everyone of our comments has been Positive on this thread Keef so I'm positive that any perceived meanness positively doesn't positively mean me and thee. We're The Good Guys!(tu)
  3. "It is about providing a description of a man who very clearly frightened me on friday evening. I dont know why some of you think that it was only a come on, it wasn't, this man was following me from a point past Sainsburys and when I took a different route to the one he took , he very obviously noticed and doubled back to find me. I hope that most of you men who are on this thread ,do not chase a woman down the street without making any noise ( carrying the suitcase so it can't be heard) and then continiously ask her why she feels frightened and then side stepping her every move repeating ' Im not trying to frighten you, Ive left my bag over there so you are not scared, I just want you to come over and talk to me, why are you moving away I have nothing to harm you, why are you frightened, you look scared.....I just want to talk about your boots...'. Now I am not someone who gets frightened easily, but I was. I had put myself in a very vulnerable position and he was definetly playing on this vulnerability. "....... As the above shows, it is not simply about being aware in the time-honoured traditions. There is "potentially" a problem in your area at the moment. Hopefully Not. 20 years ago there was a South London Train Rapist who notched up many victims. Using your logic Honk we should not have mentioned it, even after the 6th Rape as every Woman already knows to be vigilant about potential Rapists.
  4. Peckham as improved in many ways since the 1970's/1980's, certainly aesthetically. Some memories of Dear Peckham, just from "Melon Lane" 1/ Guys running down The High Street with baseball bats, but did not catch anyone. 2/ Police and large mob fighting in Melon Lane near the end of Peckham Road and The Library.(It was the fault of The Police as they tried to arrest someone!):-S.... 3/ Going down a Cul-De-Sac in Melon Lane by a "Yoof" Club and getting intimidated when I had to pass back that way after having to turn round. 4/ The Melon Lane classic!....large group of 20 or so Yoofs(accompanied by 15 Girls sitting on the wall close by)."How nice" I thought they are Dancing and doing their "thing" only they were NOT "Dancing" at all but kicking the Granny out of this Long-Haired "Student Type" who EMERGED from under their legs after a while!..and The Girls did not take a blind bit of notice! 5/ The brick thru' the Hairdressers opposite Melon Lane, while my best M8's Mum was in there... Sadly, "Melon Lane" is no more....added a certain "character" to the area, for sure.

  18. Thank Heavens I'm not the only red-bloodied Male who has a penchant for wearing Womens Clothes! I admit I was beginning to think that I was a shade, well, unusual, shall we say, but obviously not!(tu) My own particular preference is for a fox fur(fake) over Hot Pants but I refuse to wear Make-up which seems a little "girly" for a strapping six-footer like me...

I let them walk in front if there's any possibility of imminent danger, let them pull a chair out for me, walk nearest the roadside so that 50% they will "cop it". In the event that we stay somewhere I will allow them to sleep on the floor! They LOVE me treating them as Equals, HONEST GUV! Please note the space after the comma's, .........:))

That is true, in some cases, but if a crime(not talking now about this "incident" ) has definitely been committed surely one has to weigh up the safety and warning aspects against the fact that if the description of the Suspect happens to be Black then it should not be mentioned because "some" people have negative stereotypes about Black people?
