    Ok ,I've googled and apparently a ringer is a stolen car .The car being photographed is not stolen .Owned by neighbour for several years .

    Man walked past car carried on for a few feet ,turned back ,stood at rear of car ,took photo with phone and walked off . Why would he do this ?

    More than disappointed.Entitled pr**ks. Although ..I guess they'll stop when a hosepipe ban comes in and maybe they're anticipating this .

    No ,I didn't .Only lasted about 45 mins .Didn't smell like a barbeque .Seemed to be smoke drifting but hard to tell where it was coming from . Seemed odd when there is such a high fire risk .

    It didn't smell like a barbeque ,Ilona could be right ,maybe it's a smoker ? Just seems a bit unwise to have any fires at the moment with the danger of sparks and how dry the vegetation is .

    any idea why ? I'm motivated more by an interest in why part of the road was closed than a desire to be 100% geographically accurate about the location of the closure .

    Oh no ,that's awful .I know people who have watched the progress of this family ,and earlier families .They are going to be heartbroken. What was the dog owner's reaction ? An offer to pay vet bills for the damage caused I hope . Is there any update ?Did the gosling escape ?

    I think barging in/surprising people is rarely a good tactic . Could you write them a letter ?Maybe talk through the contents with someone you trust first ? As others have said ,don't give up hope .14 is still very young ,and an emotional age .There are years ahead to rebuild and have a relationship .
