"police conducted a controlled explosion."!!? -
For details of a swab test walk-in facility in the Peckham Pulse Leissure Centre car park, see https://www.southwarknews.co.uk/news/new-covid-centre-peckham-pulse/ and this lounge thread from which I got the information: /forum/read.php?20,2158909.

See /forum/read.php?5,2072651#msg-2114138 Concordia Health Ltd renamed themselves Omnes Healthcare General Practice Ltd in May 2019. There are/have been other companies within the Concordia/Omnes groups, but I think that's the one which actually has the contact.

"Cooking oil collection services, such as Olleco, help businesses to recycle their waste cooking oil to produce biofuels, which can be used to replace fossil fuels used for transport." says https://resource.co/article/oil-s-well-ends-well-how-dispose-cooking-oil. Do any local establishments use this kind of service? Apparently yes, says https://www.food.gov.uk/business-guidance/food-and-cooking-oil-waste: "If you produce waste cooking oil as part of your catering business, then you must ensure that it is stored properly. No oil is allowed to spill and it has to be collected by an authorised collector." I'm happy to carry them to LL for you if any arrangement can be made.

Did you know the bike's frame number? A match on that would have scuppered any doubts.

Met Police Section 60 notice until 18.40 9 October
ianr replied to James Barber's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Yes. This is from today's police briefing note:At six o'clock on Thursday, October 8th, 2020, we were called to a moped rider firing a handgun in Gowlett Road, SE15. Local and specialist firearms officers responded. There are no reported injuries, but the attending officers found evidence of a firearm discharge. A crime scene is in place while detectives begin their investigation. ? -
I was sorry to see Robert Poste's Child go too.

Mine is https://www.gov.uk/government/statistics/weekly-national-flu-reports-2019-to-2020-season. The flu season is only just starting, so the current reports are still fortnightly summaries only and don't even mention secondary care admission data. The latest reported GP consultation rate for influenza-like illness (ILI) is about 2 per 100,000 population in England.

A google search on the target words - bus ventilation spread of infection - provides a number of reports that may provide useful evidence. Do any of the TfL buses provide ventilation by air recirculation?

What I'd first check, not necessarily in this order, are (1) Current Ebay used price => ~?110 (2) Current Ebay, used, for spares, price => ~?35 (3) Any web interchanges matching your perceived problem (3) Web availability of videos and/or manuals on servicing. The first hit (3) has yielded, https://www.justanswer.co.uk/electronics/8fyv9-lcd-monitor-panasonic-lumix-dmc-tz40-not-working.html, is worth a look. I'm currently stuck with two Canon Powershot A500/600 series cameras with a defective switch in the SD slot. It's just a matter of a springy metal arm within the side of the slot having become slightly deformed, so that the switch isn't closed when the card goes in. I think I'm going to be have to try to correct it by a little fine prodding or poking, a bit like doing dentistry. I've checked some detailed drawings, but ideally would still like to check its conformation by sight so that I don't mess it about any more. Does anyone by chance have a spare full SD card slot that I could have a look at, probably buy and dissect?

OP knows the vehicle has no tax or MOT so presumably already knows about the different reporting routes and conditions set out at https://www.gov.uk/report-untaxed-vehicle. If it's only being moved every few months, proof of its being used on the road without an MOT is likely to be problematic. Edited to retract the last sentence above, having found:Pumbien v Vines (1995) The Times June 14 Queen's Bench Divisional Court A motor car parked on a road was being used on the road for the purposes of sections 47 and 143 of the Road Traffic Act 1988 even if it was totally immobilised and could only be moved by being dragged away, and, therefore, required both a valid MOT certificate and an insurance policy.
