Don?t tell me people get paid to do this stuff? The thought that Artless Dodger might be encouraged by cash for the rubbish stuff he puts up is mind boggling. Just take a look at the ?Graff? on the Nunshead by him. It features a Nun, with a wine glass and the contents are blue. You get it, blue + Nun = Blue Nun, you know, Blue Nun wine...ha ha! So witty, it could be a sixth form art project. But sadly no. An adult with a liquor license actually agreed to let him daub the pub with such nonsense. For balance, I?m not against most of the street ?art? here. Even some of the stuff I don?t greatly enjoy I?m happy to appreciate others may do so. But I draw the line at the stuff I describe above. It?s pants.

I saw a fully grown adult having a number 2 between two phone boxes in Soho on Friday night. Trousers to his knees, balls swinging in the cold evening air. I?m not sure what substance was lowering his inhibitions, but his two friends casually looked on from where they were laying on the pavement opposite. SoHo?s gone down hill if you ask me.

I?ve a great boiled egg recipe

Good Dijon mustard is worthy of its place at the table, along side a good English mustard. But I don?t mean the aberration that is ?French (but not really) French mustard? all brown and unpleasant. That stuff is banished to ?Banished Condiments Island? along with sweet mint jelly. However, please don?t treat this thread as a sharking pond for your anti-French nonsense. I like the French, even the awkward ones.

Ban sliced white bread And isn?t ?incomers? just short for ?blow incomers?? We know that phrase is definitely on the ?banned? list already.

I?m mostly glad we didn?t actually win the Rugby World Cup Not for the sporting prowess, it?s been a brilliant tournament. But only for the fact that Bojo and Farage might have taken it and denigrated it as some kind of ?Engeeeerland? look how mighty we can be guff. But of course it was Corbyn?s fault too, why not.

Banning things never seems to go out of fashion. However, fashions change and stuff rightly gets banned. I still remember being in a pub or a restaurant and people lighting up a cigarette as if it was completely ok. Thankfully we?re living in a more enlightened time for the best part, but there are still things on our collective radar. Vaping Horse racing On line gambling Betting shops All my personal pipe dreams for a general banning, with luck I can realistically see Vaping having its day sometime in the future. But here?s a platform to air your views, though try to stick to your subject, as a list is tedious to read, even more so to engage with. There?s a whole range of subjects in the arena, from Cars to Foie Gras, Electric Scooters to Fake News So here we go, knock yourselves out.

Is this now the ?banning things? thread? If so, can we ban horse racing 🏇🏿 please.

It?s one of the better ones. Am I imagining it, or are there two close by in Sydenham and that road that goes to Bromley?

What kind of shop/eaterie would you like to see on LL?

Plus you could pick up a stuffed badger or stoat while you were at it. -

Be honest here, she doesn?t look like the type to confront and have a nice little chat with. I could be wrong, but it would most likely end in a bit of a slagging match. -
It?s not exactly exciting news is it, not as exciting as Waitrose coming to ED. I do like Lidl tho, if only to put me out of my comfort zone.

A taxidermist would be nice. Or a kilt shop. There?s definitely a shortage of both in the area. -

I have a 125 which I love. It transforms your life in a positive way and takes the misery out of commuting. But key to this is bike skills and training. As people have said, get the right kit because it?s required when you take a tumble. I once went down the side and over the front of a Volvo estate, when the guy didn?t look and decided to make a speedy right turn. His car was full off furniture and he couldn?t see out of the windows. Parking in the West End is tight as there?s lots of bikes, but I generally do ok. That said, I mostly ride on dry days as my work is flexible and I don?t have one work location. Enjoy and stay safe.

We want one on Lordship Lane don?t we? Can we start a petition

Great to wear shopping in Waitrose Fox 👏

I?m hoping Harvey Nichols opens in Dulwich, once the Dulwich Picture Galley agree to move out and let the set up shop there.

I mostly drink redbush tea, with lemon. The (paper bag) last ages, you can get 4-5 goes out of it. Even if the tea?s gone cold you can tip it out and top it up. Very good it is too.
