  1. Blimey, do people really, I mean REALLY think this clunky marketing guff floats? Basically it says that if you don?t look to closely, we can convince you you?re getting the real thing. I?m mouthing ?go away? from the other side of a sealed unit.
  2. Is this the #howtonickstufffromsupermarkets thread?
  3. It?s a logical progression of the area. I?ve always liked Waitrose, I use them if they?re convenient to my location, specially when I?m at my Seven Oaks res at the weekend. Nice staff, nice products. What?s not to like!
  4. I liked the dodgy hose incident, in fact I reckon it got them more traction on their cause. I suppose old fire engines are decommissioned for a reason, this being one of them. But it was the endeavour I admired, not so much the delivery πŸ˜‚
  5. This says a lot about your relationship Bob Mrs Bob?s advice is telling. Good luck
  6. Or get the ceiling overboarded and skimmed Kevin the plaster did mine, he lives in ED Expect mess thorough, even with the best will in the world, there will be mess
  7. Plain lining or embossed? Old or new ceilings? LV down lighters? Clear room ? Ohhh, so many questions
  8. It?s the hardest job, I used to do it and it?s a trade within a trade. When done properly it?s spot on. But badly done, oh heck! Knowing your limits is a good thing. Ask him if he knows a ?sticker?, he might have someone to call on.

  11. I?m hanging out in Seven Oaks a lot as my gf lives there. It?s nice, in a ?this isn?t London? way. Great train connection to my Peckham Rye office and to London Bridge / Charring Cross. The areas surrounding Swanley are nice, specially Shoreham (which has a train to Nunhead I believe) I?d opt for this area over Dagenham.
  12. Have either got an artisan cheese shop? And a sour dough pizza place?
  13. Lucky for him he has the luxury of knowing he?s (relatively) safe in ED Is he a Morris dancer too, can you ask him?
  14. Made of dough πŸ‘πŸ½
  15. I remember when moos left, going off to live in Hong Kong I think She said she didn?t see the point of being involved in a local forum whilst living abroad, or something like that Then gone, finished. Maybe Rendle has a job on, something that requires his FULL attention. *waves*
  16. It?s easy to stay away for some time, but it?s hard to leave forever. ?????s even dipped his toe in a little while ago (probs too much Stella) I wonder where woodrot expresses himself now? There was a peak and often very funny time on the EDF, it couldn?t last, but it was great to see.
  17. Half houses have an other half, unlike sulky solo maisonettes
  18. What websites?
  19. It was Boris looking to drop propaganda leaflets, only he got airsick and had to turn back Cummings, dressed as Dick Dastardly followed close by in a microlight
  20. It does exist Yah!
  21. I?m looking for some good organic hand churned Artisan margarine. The stuff that?s made from natural oils and is produced in small batches. It?s beautiful on gluten free sourdough toasted bread, with a cup of decaf coffee & pea milk. Any ideas where I might get some. Last time was in Williamsburg NY, but I?m not back there until the beginning of October. Help please. πŸ™ŒπŸΌπŸ‘πŸ½
  22. Pizza Express has a pizza that was (advertised at something like) 30% less carbs, it was genius. Basically they cut a hole with a cookie cutter and removed the centre, then covered the πŸ•³ with rocket salad. I have no idea if they still do that, but must have been hilarious being at the development meetings on that one
  23. About Peckham, and ED for that matter. When it was still an absolute degenerated shit hole (pretty much), certain posters used to write these ?Oxford Street Of South London? laments, back in the day, all nostalgic and misty eyed. But when it actually starts to rise again, become something of itself, regenerate as it were. We get a sneering tone about that very same place, as if Peckham has got a high opinion of itself it doesn?t deserve. ?I remember it when it was blah blah blah and dead dogs roamed the lane? Please, get back in your can. It?s happening and you?re either part of it or not. It does not miss you btw, it?s looking forward, not back, like it or not. Why not sell up your wonderfully valuable gaff, in or close to the place you?re now so contemptuous of, and fkoff somewhere else. Live high on the equity and drive someone else to despair with your negativity. Really, it?s not rocket science.
  24. #fakefoxnews Forest hill does not want to be ?part of Peckham? What a load of cark
