  1. G W Bush has a well developed sense of humour, he?s a funny guy, self deprecating and aware. Trump is uniquely vacant in the ?funny ha ha? despot department. And and and.....who ever said ?British Trump?? in connection to BJ ? Nobody, other than vainglorious TMP himself.

    Brexit View

Jeremy Corbyn has said ?mandate? *again* a few times in the PMs Q?s he said. ?Given her successor has no mandate from the people, no mandate to move into office, doesn?t she agree that the best thing the honourable member for Uxbridge (Johnson) should do is call an election and allow the people to decide their future?? And... ?We have had three years of bungled negotiations and we now have the spectacle of a Prime Minister coming into office with no electoral mandate, looking for a Brexit deal that has been ruled out by the EU or in the case of a no-deal, ruled out by the majority in this House and by anyone that understands the dangers to the British economy of a no-deal." Expect a lot more if this in the coming weeks Actually, it?d be good to see a video of all the times he?s uttered this ?word? he so loves.

  6. I saw a doughnut beer on some menu somewhere Really, come on. It?s on the slide once you start on stupid stuff How many people go into the office the next day, and say ? Holy shit, I had one too many doughnut beers last nite, never again!? Or ?the last thing I remember was a doughnut beer, then bam!? Just stupid, specially when high octane vodka is cheaper
  7. I am yes Flantastic!

  11. Amazing news Dogger I?m glad they?ve picked up on my story at too https://www.standard.co.uk/news/uk/flying-ant-day-swarms-appear-on-south-coast-of-met-office-weather-map-a4192676.html
  12. Last week I traveled to Madrid (I travel a fair bit for work) Uber from Underhill 5:00am East Croydon train at 5:31 am to Gatwick Fast track (?5) through security All clear at 6:05am ready to avoid duty by turning right, not left after security (it?s the route the special transportation buggies take) to breeze into the main departure area.
  13. I?ve come all the way back to ED and not a ?Flant? in sight. What is happening? Don?t tell me we have to wait another 365 days until the next thread. Hmmmm....
  14. Has anyone seen any more ?Flants? I?ve not noticed any today, but then I?m in Kent at the mo. I don?t reckon they fly this far, maybe they?re just an ED thing?! There?s no parakeets here either.

  16. I?ve just had a winged ant 🐜 land in my hair. Have you seen any yet? Apart from ?????-(*add whatever fav event here), daffodil season and Shrove Tuesday, it?s probably my favourite time/date of the year. Apart from queuing up for cheese that I won?t eat at Xmas at Cheeze Blok / Mons. Wee ooo eek ewww ...?Is it ok to tip a boiling kettle down their nest hole? Or is that deemed a no no??

  19. Springer Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Woman killed in battersea today on a electric > scooter I?m sad to hear that, but there?s an inherent risk in most things, and stepping onto a scooter is one. People also choke on baked beans, or fall off ladders. I even heard of a poor lady that collapsed and the metal straw she was drinking through ?did? for her in some nasty way. It?s how life rolls sometimes. I think a few basics in precaution, and wearing some kind of high viz + helmets etc is a way forward. As I said, Europe?s capitals are rife with them. Maybe our resident Brexshitters have an opinion on that, but me I?m all for it.
  20. Every city in Europe has these, I?ve ridden them, but my son did come off his on a wet corner (on a designated pathway I should add) and there?s no doubt that these things are beyond a fad. How we regulate them I?m not sure, but most probably on a cycle path is the way forward. If you?re able to, try one when you?re away. Once you ride it, they make sense.

Is this ?dating tips? or a really cheesy ad for a website? It?s a corker though, I?m even tempted to read the tips that ?work at west girls too? I?ll probably wait and savour them later, when I?ve the time to have a proper read tbh
  22. It?s very South London, my sons and his mates ?speak? it. I noticed it grow in the 4 years between the boys ages. It definitely isn?t going away either. Funnily, I?m in 7 Oaks a fair bit, and the accent here isn?t that different to the London one I first encountered 26 years ago.
