There is also the matter of juristiction. If the "uniformed person" does not have powers delegated by the PLA they have no authority over the river wall.
A premium should be regarded as advance rent. For a cash purchaser this is an opportunity cost of c?12.5k p.a. This makes the effective rental c?42.5k p.a. To borrow money to pay the premium would be a suicide pill. Perhaps the Hindwoods' staff are too young to remember East Dulwich when premiums were non-existant or small.
Although the posts by those who want to grow up to be politicians are "interesting", I am concerned that the several contributions of good advice on what to do if you encounter a dog attacking a child have now been obscured.
Thanks, karter, I missed this one. ?195k premium (even when negotiated down) is strange in the current climate. ?30k rent can only be a high starting point for negotiations.
I am sad to read this thread. On a practical level for future reference can anyone advise: 1) The "best" way to release the dog from a child: i.e. quickest and with least further injury to the child. 2) The quickest way to kill the dog when it has a bite-hold on a child. Thank you. MacRoban
