    Shadowfax were an East Dulwich band based at 24 Matham Grove. A single was released in 1980 on Risky Discs [Risk / 1]: The Russians Are Coming / Calling The Shots [both tracks written by Martin Harris] Does anyone have further information?

    And... It's built on the site of the old East Dulwich, Camberwell Borough Council, municipal urinal.

    I hear that Southwark Council will introduce a Lordship Lane controlled parking zone in 2008. Is this a rumour or a firm plan?

And it's nearer Charter School so if you live nearer Goose Green you have a better chance of getting in to Charter I guess. It's not closer (check a map), but it's the child's place of residence, and not the primary school attended, that determines whether a child is within the catchment area.

    For The Charter in Spring 2005, if my memory serves, the catchment area was residence within 1.6km of the school gate as measured by a piece of cotton zig-zagging roads on the A-Z. The catchment area may have contracted since then. Why not phone the school?
