  1. I agree with CWALD. I would see red I think (hard to say sat at a desk safely indoors) and go hell for leather. Knowing my luck and the fecked up legal system in this country, I would be up on assault charges and the little sh*ts would probably be taking me to court. Defend yourself and you enter dangerous territory. It's almost as if you're meant to roll over and take it.
  2. I was thinking about this last night on the way home in the dark. Do people have some sort of subconscious thought that if they get pounced on by a kid(s) in the street that they can't fight back, because their attacker(s) are in fact only children? I asked Mr MW74 who said that regardless if the attacker was 15 or 50 he'd fight back if it meant he escaped; as much as possible, unharmed. What does everyone else think on this? And I agree, I can't stand people who see an incident happening and say "It's not my business" and just walk away. That makes my blood boil. I am always ringing the cops about something or other. Call me a curtain twitcher but if it means I help someone in distress who cares!
  3. We live just down the road off Upland; Crebor. It's occuring more and more unfortuantly. Sorry to hear of your horrible return from your honeymoom.
  4. Hi Jay I'm really sorry to hear about your friends, and alas I did not see anything. Mr MW74 and I were down on LL Last night walking back from Dulwich Village after watching the rugby at the Dog and Vom, and we were amazed at how bloody heaving LL was. We have never ever seen it so packed. It was we said, quite disturbing. Everyone really hammered. On route to the gym on Sat am I saw broken glass all over the pavement outside the Bishop, upturned tables and chairs and torn clothing?....it seems LL dispite being busy as you say of an evening, is actually quite a rough place to be. I hope your mates get better soon.
  5. Got mine yesterday, Crebor Street. What was your add?
  6. then let it sleep.
  7. Keef I think you're simply gorgeous.... ...funny enough?
  8. All rather serious isn't it people?
  9. Barry at Jo Partridges does a lovely cut.
  10. It's all got a bit too serious and staid for me. Nothing really spontanious happens anymore on the forum. Spiders and smashed up vehicals. I could post something tantalising but I'd probably get told to 'take it outside' I'm just holding out for another thread about dog poo.
  11. Can I ask what the tenant did to become evicted?
  12. Yeah I got on the 63 the other day, went one stop and had to get off because it STUNK of fag smoke. I was livid.
  13. The Club in Wandsworth kept whatever hours they wanted. I recall once they were all on the lasy until about 3am. They had a Frank Sinattra singer/DJ in the back. I could here them falling over on the parquet fooring, p*ssed a newts, as the night rolled on!
  14. Nosh?
  15. We used to live above the Wandsworth Constitutional Club....er...in Wandsworth. It is a Tory set up first and foremost. Every night after the evenings 'entertainment' they would all sing the National Anthem. Our landlord was the secretary of the Club. Once when we got locked out of our flat we entered the Club, and whilst waiting for said landlord had a drink in the bar. We went back in time to c1950. Flock wallpaper, ale for the men and port and bitter lemon for the ladies. There was a picture of Thatcher up on the wall next to the Queen. The men as they walked in (of a certain era obviously!) even doffed their hats to me.
  16. Make sure you wear your outdated Crocs WITH socks and trust me, take a deep breath in. The pained faces of the uber-trendies will upset you so much, you will find it hard to walk in a straight line.
  17. Neither I'm affraid, it has to be 'Highway to the Danger Zone' for me at all times..........oh yeah.
  18. Thanks Sean that is indeed what BOGAN means and that is indeed what I am.
  19. What?! Haringey for f*cks sake I used to live there back in 2002. Moved Sawf thinking it was where it's at. Crocs? I have some I bought in Australia BEFORE Stella B and the great Croc invasion in ED, AND I still wear them with socks!!!!!!!!!!yippeeeeee I am a bogan.
  20. Couldn't see any for the trendies. I expect they stay away from LL on weekends.
  21. I ventured down to LL on Saturday just past, to partake in my usually enjoyable mornings worth of shopping, coffee and general pottering about. I was alarmed to see just how MANY PEOPLE were in LL, in the pubs and shops, where have they all come from???? The sea of green Foxtons balloons and the plethora of Foxton's Mini Coopers added to my unrest. People were trying so hard to be uber cool and laidback, crippled by their uber cool and laidback outfits, they were finding it hard to catch their breath. It was painful to watch. Is it me or does LL seem to be disappearing so far up it's own a*se that it's in danger of being renamed 'Toenails Lane'...because that's all that's going to be left of it!? Rant over.
  22. I have already sent a PM to Mark giving him big thanks for a great night. I had just had the mother of all drives back from North Devon, and after a few glasses of red I was a bit smashed! Sorry If I did anything dodgy at the party?.. I did however fall flat on my face on the pavement in LL on the way home whilst searching for a late night kebab. I still have the cut on my knee as a reminder! Sad. Met some nice people; who also came along in search of that elsuive late night fast food sh!t to eat, but they didn't fall over. Thanks again Mark and all the sponsors.
  23. Hello from sunny North Devon. Just finished a long coastal path walk over the cliffs out by Mortpoint. Now off for a surf! Good waves today. Look forward to having a drink with you all on Friday! (we drive back that day)
