  1. Sea Cow, but it would be improved by having nine cans of pop on the counter arranged in a pyramid (Panda Cola, Top Deck etc).
  2. The West Wing - seven seasons so should keep you going for a while...
  3. World in Motion - New Order

I suppose that's how you become affluent in the first place - there's a fine line between thrift and theft!

In themselves all small and possibly even petty, but added together can make a difference to the environment in which we live. I couldn't agree more. Why stop at picking daffs, eh? Maybe raid the flowerbeds for some bedding plants? And if you are taking your loot home on the bus, why not make yourself comfortable and put your feet up on the seats?
  6. She Bangs the Drums - Stone Roses
  7. 'Get something on your feet' - my mum's a big believer in Wearing Slippers.
  8. Sacrifice - Elton John (yuk!)
  9. Two Princes - Spin Doctors

  11. The big Somerfield at Camberwell will close on 29th April and according to checkout staff will then become a Morrison's. The small Somerfield on the other side of Denmark Hill will become a Co-op (not sure when).

    Red Riding

Last week's looked great but was very mumbly and hard to follow. It was better with subtitles (and I speak as someone with Northern as a first language). Last night's was much more straightforward although one of the characters had a white PVC front door which didn't seem quite right for 1980 (no doubt I shall be speedily corrected if I am wrong :)).

  15. If it's one of the spongey ones you could make an Aussie-style beer holder out of it.
  16. I used to live in HOP and found the trains weren't too bad if you travelled before 8am and got on at the back. Felt sorry for everyone at Brockley though. If you can get a seat on the bus it's not a bad way to travel. Lots of reading time!
  17. Go Go Ninja Dinosaur - Four Tet
  18. I learnt a new 'stan - Tatarstan. Official website According to Wikipedia the unofficial Tatarstan motto is 'Buld?rab?z!' ('We can!'). I wonder if Obama has ever been there?
  19. Wild Wood - Paul Weller

For cupboard stuff, bread, milk etc. it is fine - and handy on the way home from work as it is open until 10pm. Good special offers too. Sainsbury's DKH is all a bit overwhelming - I don't need that much choice!
  21. Down in the Tube Station at Midnight - The Jam
  22. Yes - McAlmont & Butler
