  3. lest we forget... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xCxI_Y7h4Q4 ps when i was a kid i found this scary, still do if the truth be known... just a big baby when it comes to horror... suffer from too vivid an imagination...

I had a lovely time... chatted to all sorts of tip top forumites, the penultimate highlight being meeting CitizenED's wife for the 1st time... we made each other really laugh, brilliant... thanks V the ultimate moment was that I only had one G&T and then went 'soft', so as I left I thought 'no hangover tomorrow, hooray!'... ps LegalE... you are looking fab... keep up the good work xxCC
  5. [quote Dulwichmum "Let me take you shopping to Westfield! I adore Westfield"] WESTFIELD!!!!! horrors DM, what has come over you??? that is no place to take a gentleman!!! Jermyn Street, Saville Row, or even the Burlington Arcade... that is where you will find a Proper shop for a proper gent, but WESTFIELD oh dear no! what is the world coming to... (pppssst, may I recommend Turnbull and Asser, not that ggghhaaastly American tat DM) If you want to be seen as posh totty DM, may I suggest to swat up a bit http://www.whatmakesaman.net/wordpress/2008/01/12/english-designer-menswear-jermyn-street-sales-part-1/ http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1347/1170294630_6b60895858.jpg?v=0

  7. what about a nice 1950's vintage suit... that way you can move seamlessly between gent and cad undetected http://www.vintageglamblog.com/Images/Shopping/mens-fashion-1950.jpg
  8. I kind of love the ides of the temporary tattoo sleeve... the chance to have a different tattoo any time on a whim http://www.giftsupplying.com/product/pic/tattoosleeve.jpg but... then again is that a bit like making graffiti legal... sort of takes the meaning out of it ie tattoos = permanent graffiti = done under cover of darkness to avoid arrest

  12. SM[quote name=Quote: Ethical considerations aside' date=' Bristol University did a 'Pepsi Challenge' on organic/battery farmed chickens and the latter won on taste grounds. I'd be interested in reading that if you can link to it - I find it VERY hard to believe that the watery meat found on the latter would win anything ] our taste buds have become accustomed to that bland, overly soft (cos' that poor damed chicken never ran anywhere), overly 'moist' bird... offer people a tasty, firmer, darker and less watery meat and the tounge panics... "give me battery" it yells.. "then at least I don't have to chew"... sadly we have been programmed to like the mass-produced... rebel, hold on to your taste buds, I say... ps saw a packet of tomatoes in a supermarket recently that had a huge sticker on it saying "grown for flavour" as if it was some rare and marvelous selling point... what the hell is going on here!!????
  13. however, the report does not say that there are not negative implications to eating foods that contain high residues of chemicals and hormones if you are lucky enough to be able to afford organic... then seems to makes sense to me...
  14. [quote=Here's the Tube map from 1949 - they were thinking of it then: ] love the map kford hhhmmmm 70 years thinking about it so far that should mean we only need only another 30 years to raise the funding, 15 more planning it, 20 to build it, 5 more to debate what to call it and we should have it up and running 2079...
