  1. 👍 to Almodavar. The Spanish series Locked Up, on Channel 4, Walter Presents is worth watching.
  2. Not been, but looked at reviews and already planning a visit. Thanks for posting.
  3. After this story came out here, I saw an advert for a flat for sale in Solomon's Passage/ It's been removed now. are all of the properties there built by Wandle?
  4. Why do, or did, so many UK bathrooms have just a sink with no counterspace/shelving/storage? Not just talking about mid century stuff, but recent developments, especially with developers?

Agree with this, am in Oglander Road.
  8. Interested in this discussion. I am just coming out of a 2 yr fixed rate. I had previously been on a 2 year tracker, and opted for the fixed as I thought for sure thought BoE Rate would rise. Obviously it didn't. I now have a choice between 2 yr fix at 1.69 or 2 yr tracker whose monthly repayments would be ?60 a month lower than the fixed. Both have product fees.

Melbourne Grove seems to be in disarray again. People coming and going. I asked for a prescription renewal and after five days it still hadn't been done.
  10. Hourly rates from ?8 up to what amount? Is this for walking, and why is it from ?8?
  11. My iPad is under guarantee with John Lewis. I called them and they said they didn't have any, but that I could buy one, send them the receipt and they would refund me. I think I have to get an Apple one otherwise it could void guarantee. There isn't an Apple Store near here. I called sainsburys and they have their own version for the price as the Apple version. Bizarre.
  12. The ones I bought did not rip the skin off the mouse. ------------------------------------------------------- > Azalea Wrote: > -------------------------------------------------- > ----- > > Have you tried peanut butter in the traps? 13. My charger has stopped working. Think it's the same as an iPhone charger, anyone know where to buy one in the area?
  14. Love having spiders around, not sure why you would want to remove them from your garden.
  15. Have you tried peanut butter in the traps? I bought some traps on Amazon, they are plastic and reusable, with a hole for bait. Easy to dispose of mouse and reuse. Took a while but I have caught two so far.

Have you heard of any surgeries not referring patients to outpatients clinics in order to save money but not telling you, despite agreeing to? Not sure how budgets work in regard to this?
  17. I don't understood the hype about Gail's bread.
  18. A friend bought the Miele one, and loves it. It's really quiet. She previously had an old Hoover.
  19. How does one complain about a GP surgery now, is there an overseeing body?
  20. Looked on the Gardens Surgery website, it says that GPs are supposed to declare their average mean earnings. They put down just over ?73k for their practice.
  21. Does anyone know if, when you ask your GP to be referred to an outpatients clinic at a hospital, the GP practice pays for any subsequent treatment? Trying to figure out how funding works now. I believe that the GP surgery had a budget for prescriptions, for example, but am clueless about the rest.
  22. Kate and Cactus, There is an NHS website, NHS Choices, for Melbourne Grove, and other practices, where you share your concerns and give ratings. The practice manager is supposed to address any issues. Had a look, and comments don't make pleasant reading
