Just saw that BBC London News is reporting on this tonight/now.

It’s so hard to believe. I hope the Southwark News article helps with getting more donations and repair costs. Coverage on the local news would also help.

How did this company get permission to operate their business like this in the first place? Kickbacks? They are horrendous.

I wanted to add that in the past, but not recently, I have used independent Mayow Vets in Sydenham. I was happy with the service my pet received. They have a sister practice in Penge called Parish Lane Vets, but not used them. The Medivet practice in New Cross took over the previous independent vet practice when the owner, John Hankinson, retired a few years ago. I did use them before Hankinson retired, but not afterwards. There are some very unhappy reviews on that Medivet site and it’s mentioned how much it has changed (and not for the better) since becoming part of the Medivet chain.

I second the Olio suggestion. Just download the App and register. The Albrighton food bank does have a telephone number - 0207737 6186 is the number of the community centre, so that might be it.

Can you please give more info regarding being ripped off etc and when? They used to have an excellent reputation until they sold out to another company. Which Medivet do you go to?

Contact LEASE - The Leasehold Advisory Service, for advice. If you are in a block, then contact your (owner occupier or owner landlord) neighbours to see if they received a similar bill. You can then band together to fight it. How big is the estate? Has recent work been done? When did you buy the property? Is there a residents association? What did your sellers information form say about upcoming work and charges?

Ooh, it’s quiet again today.

I noticed that these were sold out online. They have good reviews. For the last two days I’ve not heard any planes to speak of. But, previously, over the last month or so they were very, very noticeable.

Are you saying that you use both vets but only have problems with NV? If so then why do you use them?

The launderette in Bellenden Road is on the opposite side of the road to Kuki Hairdressers, but a bit further down, towards Choumert Road.

I could smell that last night too. There used to be someone who’d low level burn stuff all night in the Bellenden/Oglander Rd gardens area.

Has anyone else had problems in subscribing to the Southwark brown bin garden scheme? They now have a message up saying they know there are problems and that they are looking into it. This has been going on all this week. It happens after I put all my card details in, at the end of the process. I?ve tried at least 15 times. I?m using either an iPad or an iPhone. I?ve called them and they gave me an email to write to. What would someone do without an online access?

Yesterday, the postbox just off Bellenden Road on Chadwick Road was full to the brim with post as I found out when I tried to post something. It didn?t give me any confidence that it was being emptied regularly at 530 pm as it said on the box. I ended up using a different postbox which said pick-up was everyday at 9.00 am.

Where is his job? Good transport would be important to me as well. What are his interests?
