the issue isn't really what the shopowner could have done - it's the OP slating him on social media what if the shopowner had gone on facebook and written - "ED Parent forgets sons precious scooter - what awful parenting..." It would just be wrong.

you would have thought, but the council don't seem to care much about trees - and the risk is they will be felled without a full understanding or discussion. -
He could have kept it in the shop longer, but that's really not the issue. The issue is the behaviour of the OP - can't believe they would go on a forum to publicly slate a local business owner, when they have done nothing wrong.

I agree that they should remain. Southwark have a record of being too quick to cut down treees so I would be more than happy to provide any support -

touchy (also petty) "Let's stop bashing people who....." 1) don't agree with you 2) are responsible dog owners who need to use the green (various reasons) and stop the agenda to get the green banned from dog walking. There are more grown up responses to both of the above; education , availability of resources - a number of suggestions have been made in the above posts

A lot of people are in that situation...many in far worse. My generosity doesn't stretch as far as supporting another family, who are actually quite OK and not vulnerable.

Rather petition the cafe not to use Single Use Plastic and only biodegradable cups. We have them at work. People forget they hold the power as consumers. -

I suggest that the community of dog walkers are alerted to the problem by putting up posters and asking for their help in keeping the green clean.

I would rather support a ban on multi dog walkers, same as Dulwich Woods, than a ban on all dog owners. If you actually watch the dog walkers, they are not watching the dogs at all, whereas people with family dogs do

All the people i have met (i'm there every day) walking their dogs are doing just that...playing and spending time rogather. I would put my money on the culprits being multi-dog-walkers, who i've only ever seen on their phones and ignoring the dogs they ate paid to watch.

You are actually very vulnerable near home as you tend to think you are safe and not be watchful. Of course don't have your phones out - that's just stupid really, given the publicity such crime has in the area. And of course, just let it go - don't chase after them. If you've got important photos on it, download them, store your numbers, buy a phone you can afford to lose.

you can take them with your phone if you apply online - the app checks the photo before you submit so you're guaranteed they will be accepted.
