I started a thread about how much I liked driving in London. Drivers, on the whole, are a courteous bunch. I give way to someone, they inevitably raise a hand in thanks. When they do not I get momentarily annoyed. That show how rare it is.

What about fans who downsize - you know get a bit pissed off with all the cynicism of the Premiership so you go from supporting the likes of Man U to a local non-league club like Dulwich Hamlet. I'd say hats off to anyone who does that. I think the loyalty-at-any-cost, simply on the grounds that you were brought up in a certain town or your family supported a certain team, is a bit suspect. Rather like following a religion.
