  1. I am sorry to hear your story. Can you afford to treat yourself to a massage? No horrible side effects - other than sleep
  2. I will be restarting English Classes for au pairs starting in September based at the Plough ,Lordship Lane. The lessons will be on Thursday mornings , please contact me for further details: [email protected] and look at the facebook page https://www.facebook.com/English-Teaching-in-Dulwich-1509284502625768/. 3. Jeremy- good idea- I tried that - they only stole the wheels :(
  4. I quite like a few slices of fried tomato and tommy sauce with mine.
  5. A slice of freshly made white soft bread with butter and marmite.
  6. I always joined my au pairs to JAGS gym- there are classes there they can interact with and meet other people. Other gyms are available of course. I also introduced them to other friends who had au pairs. I always took a full day at the start to show them around the local area- join libraries, showed them cinemas and explained cheap nights etc etc. Also i always made it clear that their weekends were their own apart from very occasional babysitting so they could go on day trips, stay over at a friends etc ( I also had a trundle bed so they could have a friend stay over) . Show them facebook groups for au pairs in London. TBH they will probably be keen to shoot off as soon as they can and explore London while they can.
  7. i would think a 6 year old would be going to bed at 7pm? theyre usually pretty tired by then.
  8. Sarah Vine has to be partly responsible! ;)
  9. How to raise a girl Caitlin Moran.
  10. You just need wunderweb and an iron to take clothes up.😉
  11. 1978, not sure if t was a Deluxe model, but it was one up from a 50cc Honda moped http://www.classicandsportscar.ltd.uk/Ford-Anglia-105E-De-Luxe/classic-cars-sold/17017
  12. The Garden Bridge will be another tourist attraction and attract even more people in making it even worse than it is now. Bah humbug- we want jobs for young people to give them skills and a future and I just dont see this as helping beyond short term construction.
  13. http://www.ukparks.com/residentialhome.asp Like this?
  14. I am very disappointed in the Mayors decision. We cant house people, we cant provide the health care they need let alone educate them and yet we can invest in this? What a sell out. :(
  15. Melihoople I am sure people will help you with a buggy on the steps- surely?
  16. This happens in private blocks too. Some leases do not have sinking funds and it is hard to get repairs done. There have been blocks in Streatham that have been blighted by this. Some landlords are particularly bad.
  17. ? asked at Sainsburys a few months ago. The company cleaning cars lost their contract at all Sainsburys because of visa issues I was told.
  18. Could she use some of this summer to "shadow: or do a bit of work experience in various jobs? ( need to start planning it now). I would seriously explore a profession where the NHS are helping with your fees and if you have work experience ( which probably all successful will have for physio) that will help. Sometimes it's good to shadow/do work experience to help find out what you don't want to do.Your granddaughter sounds super☺
  19. I've always liked BHS for bedding and lighting.Never clothes.
  20. Caroline Pidgeon talks about 9-5 City workers, what planet is she from??
  21. My Labour leaflet actually made a big thing of Sadiq being a Muslim, whereas his number 2 did not mention her religion, and I had to google her to find out she was an active Christian. I hate that.
  22. Ditto that. speed at finding the answers in your files assisted greatly by sticky notes and labels. Respect for Judge important too.
  23. I would like to know why College Road has not been used as part of the route. It is a quieter road . I wonder if the Dulwich Estate were approached and said no? ( Its partly a private road). Its a much more direct route.
