I think a childminder would suit you better-especially if you wanted say 9.30 to 3pm- so they could "fit you in" around school age children and it would not be so difficult to get out hte house at that time.

accept that boys are different to girls. They are wired differently. I have spent a lot of time getting the huff with girlfreinds that excused their sons behaviour by saying " oh well,they are boys" - while I felt they should pick things up if I remind them ( nag) enough, etc etc.

i think the thing to be careful about are costs.whilst i and many others have had pay cuts in thepast few years, things like my ticket to work has gone up by over 10%, vat and petrol etc also gone up-and I think you need to keep up with these costs if you can.

IF YOU Can connect with a cable to a pc- you open it up on the pc- then cut them from the camera (as opposed to copy) and then delete on pc ( but depends on the kind of camera operating system so can t be more specific)

I'm not sure an au pair would be the first person I would turn to to look after a baby. I would like for a nanny/ childminder with a first aid qualification and pref own car too. Friends who have nannies who are looking for extra money are a good bet.

cant you do what a lot of women do, which is let your partner, child and mil have a bonding weekend while you go away for the weekend? cathc up with girlfriends/ spa weekend?

cant you go on an open day or at least arrange to go by yourselves and meet head of the sixth form? most schools have open days for 6th forms.

at the end of the day you have to live below these people- you will soon have a baby and a toddler to look after. You do not need to "up the anti " with your neighbours. You will feel quite vulnerable with 2 to look after.Why dont you just get the hook done and put the bike up? -but no point doing this if the boy wont be able to get it down himself.Can't you just have a word with the boy yourselves? Having 3 teenagers is pretty trying to parents-sometimes teenagers respond better to other adults than they do to their own parents.

why dont you say you have a freind who is looking for a bike " just like that " and ask them to sell it to you , for your friend. -i dont expect they can be bothered to replace it? then sell bike on?
