  1. So straferjack, you have children, but are agreeing with giggirl? It's clear she doesn't have children (lifestyle choice). Why did she have to bring up about being disabled in a very nonchalant way though in a post about parking?
  2. Cox's Walk is a favourite with my family too - we've been going for around 8 years now and keep meaning to get back up there - especially to get a bag of crisps and drink in the pub at the other end!
  3. The Wednesday morning might be Whippersnappers at Brockwell Park.
  4. Does it happen every day? Maybe it's just bin collection day and they've left their bin out to be collected? Or they are at work and the bin men have not put it back? Do you have a car and find you can't park outside your own home then? giggirl - your post was quite offensive really, about "are your kids disabled" and "don't they walk" and about talking about lifestyle choices (I presume) - people do have children.
  5. Jeremy, going back to your comment on the first page; do you really think people are going to go all the way to park in Sainsburys, just to shop in a Marks & Sparks on Lordship Lane? Can't see that happening myself, especially as Sainsburys sell more or less the same stuff. M&S food sells at ridiculous prices, yet they have the cheek to ask women to bring in their old clothes for Oxfam! Couldn't some of their profits from their food prices go to Oxfam?
  6. Charlotte - doesn't it give you a wider choice though? East Dulwich isn't that big an area on it's own and it shouldn't be made an enclave. To answer your question - I don't think the ED forum should be used just for people who live in ED - I'm in North Dulwich by the way, just around the corner.
  7. I will try to dig the paper out of my recycling box tomorrow if I can find the article! I think it was due to the safety issue, and personally I would never have let my child wear one. Choking and strangulation is the first thing that comes to my mind. Have you tried taking evening primrose oil or cod liver oil capsules for your inflammation?
